After being eliminated on season 10, Vanjie had headed back home feeling defeated and to make it worse she couldn't talk to anyone about this.

"I cannot believe i'm the first to go, but things happen for a reason and I know this isn't the end for me, bitch I write my own damn story. " she thought as her taxi pulls up to her home. "I just wanna call my girls here and get them to have a kiki with me but I can't say shit.".

Week after week Vanessa got texts from the eliminated queens updating her on what was happening, it felt good knowing she can now talk to them. The contract was so strict on communicating about the show but it was okay between the girls.

I received a text from Monique which made me laugh "Girl these bitches would not stop saying 'Miss Vanjieeeee' any chance they could." Vanessa responds "Damn I hope they don't edit that shit out, I wanna see this".

"I have no idea what to expect when the show airs, I didn't even get the chance to show them anything. You know i'm gonna drag my ass out to the clubs and work, I wanna prove myself and sitting here won't do shit, no ma'am".

A few long months later and the season finally airs.

Vanjie was tempted to avoid social media, the word was out that she was on the show and she had not long after received text messages from her friends talking about how excited they were that she was on the show, and how they are rooting for her. "Great here comes support and shit and these bitches dont even know i'm the first to get sent home.".

Vanessa made the decision to stray from social media and just turned off her phone.

"I aint doing this shit, Mary I need a drink".

The next morning Vanjie woke up with a searing hangover and decided to turn her phone on, as soon as she did text messages started flooding in and her phone started crashing from all the social media notifications "What the hell".

Miss Vanjie had become a meme. People all over the world were praising her exit from the show. When Ru laughed so did everything else, surprised by the reaction the next few weeks began to get hectic with the amount of support she had received regardless of being the first queen eliminated she now had some positive reactions. She had become a fan favourite of season 10.

She started getting calls from major news outlets on social media. "This is gonna be a ride". It was followed up with interview after interview.

She later received a call from the producers of the show and this is where Vanjies story really begins.

"Hi Vanessa we have reconsidered your position on RuPaul's drag race and we want you back on for season 11. If you want to accept of course." Vanessa's heart tightens. "Bitch this is my chance to show everybody what I can really do" she thought. She agreed. "Okay then we will be in contact with you very soon, we have some things to discuss with you". The producer hangs up the call with a warm goodbye and Vanessa cannot believe what was happening.
