My Eyes Tell A Story

Chapter 9

"So you are saying that I have a twin?"I ask as Slender breaks the news. I almost choked on my spaghetti!
"Yes,I am. Looks to be now that you don't know though. Do you know where you were born?"
"Yeah, Olympia, Washington,just a couple of hours away."
"When is your birthday? Isn't around the fall or late summer months?"
"No,Why would you think that? My birthday is on January 3rd." Dr.Smiley choked on his water and started to cough."Is there something wrong with that day?"
"No,It just something is wrong about the time order. The woman he mated with would of got pregnant in April....he wasn't around that time of the year....."Slender says.
"Does that mean that my twin will have eyes like me?"
"Possibly yes,but more likely no."Mrs.Eight-Feet-Tall says. She kinda still scares me because of the park incident.
"Will my twin have the mark, though?"
"Yes,but probably somewhere else on the body."Dr.Smiley says."I pretty sure it would be on his wrist. Toby show her."he says.I look around the table and see the boy from the woods roll up his sleeve. He showed his brand of the mark that was same one on my eyes,just like Sally said .

"BEN I want you to hack all of Washington's and Russia's birth records."
"On it." he says and teleports out of the room and teleports back with a computer.

I pushed away my plate of food, suddenly not hungry.How could I have a twin and not know it? Did he or she die? Did mom give my twin away?Did she abandon my twin? I thought of so many possibilities that I didn't realize I was digging my fingers into the table until Slender reached over and laid a hand over my hand making me jump a bit.
"Child,your ruining the table. You may want to take off your claws."He says and sits down. I take off my claws and set them on the table.

I sat next to Sally as she was watching My Little Pony. She giggled as Pinkie Pie danced around. I looked around the room to see E.J in a armchair wrapping a bandage around his arm. He looked up to see me stareing at him and I quickly look away,my face going red.
"Sam? Slender wants me show you your room." I look up to see Jane. I get up and she leads me through the hallway and leads me to a set of stairs. Her heels clicked against the stairs making the hallway echo.

"This is your room."she says and opens the door."If you need anything you know where to find me and Slendy's room is just down the hall,you will find it because it has a brass knocker on it with the proxy symbol on it. You have clothes in your closet awaiting for you."she says and walks away. I walk into my room and lay on my bed. The room was bigger than my room at home. I giggled,I always wanted to have  a huge mansion.I guess wishing upon a star does come true.....It even had its own balcony with chairs and a table!

I change into sweatpants and a t-shirt and head out on the balcony. I sit on one of the chairs and gaze up at my favorite star. I shined brighter than ever. Maybe it is showing that my twin is safe,just wanting to be found....

??? P.O.V
"Where is he?"a voice boomed
"Right here,sir...."
"Bring him here,we have very,very good news."
"Yes?"
" I have found your sister. Now tommorow wake up early so we can see if you are connected and practice seeping into her mind...."the voice let's out demonic laugh.

Sam's P.O.V
I wake up with a start. Crap,I fell asleep out here. I stand up and walk back inside. I check the clock on the wall and says 2:14. I lay on my bed and try to go back asleep. After a couple of minutes of tossing and turning I decided that I couldn't go back to sleep. I open up my door. I tiptoe down the hallway and make it to Slender's room. I knock twice.
"Slender?"I whisper. I turn the knob of the door and peek in. The light of the hallway floods his room showing him in bed. I walk in and close the door. I tiptoe to the other side of the bed and crawl in,careful not to wake him. As I lifted the blanket,I saw that his hand was clenched in a fist. I turn my body do it was facing away from him and my eyes became droopy and I soon fell asleep.

Slender's P.O.V
I wake up at five,from the blaring of my alarm clock. I turn the clock off and I sit up ready to start my day when I see Sam all sprawled out on the other side of my bed.  When did she get in here without me knowing? It's like I used to do with Splendor. Which reminds me he is coming over in a couple of days. I stand up and grab my usual clothes and head for my bathroom.

Sam's P.O.V
I wake up at 6:00, according to Slender's alarm clock.
"Good Morning."Slender says. He was sitting in a chair reading a huge book. He closes it and stands up. He was dressed in a suit."You may want to get up, because I have something planned for you."He walks out of the room and I follow him and I walk back to my room. Maybe I should ask him about his dream since his he did to seem to be in pain...I thought as I dressed into an off the shoulder red sweater and black ripped jeans. I put on the flats that he left for me and I brushed my hair in the mirror in my room and put it in high-low pigtails.

I made myself to the kitchen to see Slender at the table drinking coffee and reading the book from earlier.
"What are you reading?"
"Reading about how to activate someone's power,which my friend of mine will help me do to you today."
"I have superpowers!"
"Something like that....We are going to activate it so you can be able to control it and to control that static of yours so you won't be able to hurt anyone. Then we will work with your combat skills, working with your finger claws mostly since they have hidden power in them."He says without looking up.
"Dear,your going to overwhelm her with that info and waking her up this early."Mrs.Eight-Feet-Tall says as she walks in,fixing her hat."Is it Mrs. Pencilneck is the one coming over,I suppose?"she says and pours herself a.cup of coffee.
"Yes,and Good morning,Hachishakusama."
