Chapter Four

"What are you getting me for my birthday tomorrow ?" I asked Vanessa as we were sitting in last period.

"It's a surprise." She said smiling.

Let me tell you this bitch is full of surprises. Last year on my birthday I had told her I wanted a baby tiger.

I was just kidding but this bitch thought I was foreal.

Flashback

It was my 16 birthday and I was sleeping good as hell. You know the usual wet dreams about August Alsina and I felt a wet sensation on my face.

"Mm Auguuuust" I laughed playfully.

Then there was a scratch on my arm and that shit hurt. I winced and played it off still sleeping then there was another scratch in the same spot.

My eyes popped open. I screamed while throwing the baby tiger off me and it hit the wall.

"Indiya what the fuck !?" Vanessa said startling me.

"Uh surprise I mean." She said smiling.

"Why would you bring a baby tiger in my room and put it on me while I was sleeping !?" I asked her.

"Bitch isn't that what you said you wanted ?" She said and I shook my head.

"I didn't mean it." I said and she looked at me side ways.

"Ooooh I see you was being samastic." She said and I looked at her crazy.

"I was being what ?" I say laughing.

"Damn you don't know what that means ? Did you even study your vocabulary words ? Do better." She said with all seriousness and I laughed even harder.

"You mean sarcastic ?" I said and she crossed her arms across her chest.

"You knew what I meant." She said .

"And where the hell you get a baby tiger from anyway ?" I asked her looking at the animal.

"I stole it from the zoo. But listen I was just going to let you have it for a few minutes and take it back. But now look at it. You made the poor animal cripple he is going to be walking like Stevie Wonder. "

I laughed until I cried. This bitch.

Flashback over

"It better not be like the last surprise." I told her while laughing.

"Oh it's not trust me. I went through enough from sneaking in a tiger cage last year. This year it's going to be plain and simple." She said smiling.

"Look at me like that one more time ." I told Makaylah .

I swear me and her are falling apart . Over a nigga that doesn't even know we exist ! It's her fault.

I could have been apologized but the ugly ass faces she be making looking at me changes my mind.

"Or what ?" She said and I stood up.

I walk into the house and my daddy picks me up and spins me around.

"Baby girl I'll see you later on tonight. I got to go to work." He said and I smiled.

I love my daddy.

"Yes sir. Bring back a birthday gift!" I screamed after him as he got in his car.

"I wouldn't forget about my baby ! but your mother. Well that's a different story. You might not like her gift." He said making a stank face which caused me to laugh.

I'm pretty sure I won't be fond of it either.

I walk in the kitchen.

"Hey ma what you cooking ?" I asked starting up a conversation .

"Some fried chicken, sweet peas, jiffy bread, greens, and some macaroni ." She said and I licked my lips.

"Sounds good. It's always nice to have your cooking." I said and she looked back at me.

"Who said this was for you ?" She said and I laughed.

She can't be serious.

"Wheew you are funny mom." I said and she still looked at me with a straight face.

Oh shit she was serious. I'm mad as hell now. She want to fucking play knowing I'm hungry. I'm not going to be disrespectful though. Not this time.

"Okay soo excuse me." I said passing by her and reaching for the noodles in the top cabinet.

"Finally." She said and I looked at her crazy.

"What ?" I asked.

"Finally you're not being disrespect to me. This was a test to see if you was. Yes you can get some of this food." She said smiling and I hugged her.

"I'm sorry for being disrespectful ma." I said and she smiled .

"It's okay. But your still going to counseling for that January situation." She said and I laughed.

"You mean August ? August Alsina ?" I said and she nodded.

I was upstairs on oovoo with Vanessa and I got a oovoo call.

It was Brody.

I answered it just for Vanessa .

This should be interesting.

Vanessa: who the hell you added to this chat ?

Brody: well hey Vanessa. Aren't you looking like a rose out of heaven.

When Brody said that Vanessa blushed. Awee my baby is growing up.

Vanessa: hey Brody.

Me: well umm I guess I'll let you guys talk.

When I said that Brody adjusted his glasses smirking.

Brody: oh I see what you did there buddy. Your a real pumpkin pie for that.

I laughed.

Me: bye you guys.

I started looking through my pictures and landed on the sexiest picture in my phone of August Alsina.

I was about to do the unthinkable if you know what I mean.

But I chose not to because I'm still a virgin and that's just nasty.

I started playing with my ear because I was getting sleepy.(I do that in person)

And sooner or later I fell asleep.
