It all started one dark stormy night when Macy was about to go to bed. Her brother Mark had planned to play video games all night but had already passed out in his chair. Macy and Mark where not very close to each other and often had fights, but Macy just says its because there orphans and don't have parents to help solve their problems. Macy crawled into her bed and pulled up the covers and was about to gall asleep when Mark came into her room. "I thought you were asleep" said Macy. "I was but then I just had a weird feeling and umm... well." "What is it!" said Macy. "When I was asleep I heard and person scream." "They were probably just having fun go to sleep." said Macy. "You don't get it it was a screech and then it was suddenly cut off. It wasn't natural." "Its not like there's anything we can do about it go to bed." "Fine." Mark went back to his room and Macy finally feel asleep.
The next day Macy wakes up and heads to the kitchen. "Hey Mark." "Morning." "What's for breakfast" says Macy. "We don't have any food." "Oh, lets head to the market today the what do we have twenty dollars?" "We have five," said Mark, "Only five." "Ok lets go not like anything good is happening from sitting around here." "Whatever," said Mark.
Mark and Macy headed out to go get some food and decide to take a short cut threw the woods. This made the trip much faster and more enjoyable because Macy got to pick flowers to whole way. At the market they bought a loaf of bread and some butter. Sadly that is all they could afford. After that they spent the rest of their day trying to make money and failing to. It was now dusk and they decided to take the short cut again threw the woods.
It was dark and Macy wad getting a little scared. But Mark, Mark was terrified. A twig snapped loudly and Mark flinched. "Macy this is were I heard the scream." "Remember." "It will be fine we are all most home." But at the same time Macy didn't really believe herself. Crackle, snap. "Macy I don't know where we are." "The house is just up there probably only 7 minutes left." Snap. "Stop." Said Mark. "I heard something." Crackle, crackle, snap. "Let's just get home come on." Macy grabs Marks arm and pulls him forward but there was no ground there just leaves. Macy and Mark fall down a huge hole screaming. Macy held onto Marks arm as tight as she could but she couldn't hold on. "Mark!!!" "Ahhhh." Mark floated out into the distance and Mark and Macy kept falling. Alone.
