The ten sorcerers

The fire bird

We walked into the big villa. It was huge and it was perfect for us. 'Reiley don't you live next door?' Theo asked. Reiley nodded. 'Oke Reiley, you  go grab some stuff from your house. Anything that can be usefull, like blankets and food.  Jason, Theo, go to the abandoned houses and see if you can find anything usefull. Sierra you come with me to the blacksmith. I saw it on the way over here, maybe there are some weapons left that we couls use.' I said. Everyone agreed and went on our ways to get all of the stuff.
About 5 minutes later we were at the blacksmith. There were a view swords, some axes and, some knives, a view dagers and a lot of arrows. We put all of it in big grey bags that we found in the corner. 'This should be enough.' I said. It was pretty heavy but we had to bring it back to the house.
We finally arrived at the house. It wasn't that far away. But those weapons were very heavy and for some reason I felt unsafe. Reiley was sitting on a table looking outside. 'He Reiley, you said you lived here with your family? Where are they?' I asked. Maybe it was just his family walking around the village. 'Yeah, my mom took my little sister to some family far away from this land. She didn't want to be alone in the village. So when everything was safe she would come back.' Reiley replied. An hour later the other two came back with food and clothes.
There were 8 bedrooms in the house. And 5 bathrooms. Those were all upstairs. The rest was on the first floor. A big kitchen, a dinerroom and ofcourse a livingroom. And the garden was huge. We placed the weapons in a big drawer in the hall. We were with 5 people now. So we all had our own room. I slept all the way to the left. Next to me was Sierra, then Jason, then Theo and next to him was Reiley. The animals could stay in the garden. There was some sort of stable in the garden. The owner probaly had horses or something. For Miko I made a big hole in the ground with my magic.
'He Jason can you make a little storm?' I asked. 'Yeah sure.' He replied and with the help of Sierra the hole filled up with the water from te storm. 'Oke Sierra can you try to make the water clean and clear?' I asked. She nodded and touched the water. And just like that we had clear, clean water. Miko happily jumped in and swum around.
It was around 1 pm. Sierra and I went for a walk around the village.
I looked up in the sky and saw a bird? fly around. A big red euhm bird? It flew cirkled around us. Then it quickly flew down and dissappeared somewhere behind the houses. 'Did you see that?' Sierra asked. I nodded. That wasn't any normal bird. We tried to find the bird. And about 20 minutes later we found it. It was sitting on a fallen tree near a lake. We slowly walked towards it. 'Hey buddy. Where do you come from?' I asked while I slowly tried to reach out my hand. Something silver flitsed before my eyes and I heard Sierra shout in fear. I grabbed my bow from my back and I looked behind me. Half a meter from Sierra there was a sphere in the ground. I pointed to my left, to where the shot came from. From the trees a girl appeared. She walked towards us. She had brown hair in 2 long braids on the front. She had clear blue eyes. She was smaller that I was she was about 5cm shorter meanimg that she was 1,70. It didn't really matter how tal someone was. But it helps to look at that when you're in a battle. 'What are you doing in my village?' She asked.
I realised what that weird bird was. It was a phoenix, so she probably was a sorcerer. I looked at her neck and she had a scar in the form of a flame. So that meant she had fire. I lowered my bow but Sierra grabbed her tritant and pointed it towards the girl. 'Sierra no, don't' I quickly said. Sierra looked confused at me. 'It's oke, were sorcerers as well.' I said calmly showimg the girl my mark. 'I'm sorry. Usually there are no people here. I'm Satomi and this is Suri she's a phoenix.' The girl explained. We introduced ourselves. 'We have a base not far from here, follow us.' I said. Satomi agreed and followed us. She was probably happy thatshe wasn't alone anymore. I think that's why she followed us so easily. When we walked in the house we explained the guys who Satomi was and we had all the introductions. 'Is it me or is this whole journey getting easier?' Reiley said. 'Well you're forgetging that were supose to fight a whole army that rules the land and that if we die everyone is doomed.' I replied.
After Satomi settled in in her room we decided to clean the house. 'So who will do what?' Reiley asked. And for some reason everyone looked at me. 'Euhm Theo, Reiley go do the kitchen. You know put the food together in cabinets, that sort of things. Jason, Sierra go fix the stables. I saw some broken stuff there. Maybe you can fix the cages and after that clean the cages. If thats oke. Euhm Satomi can you clean the living room? I'll sharpen and clean the weapons and see which one can use for battle and training and which one we can't use.' I said. Everyone nodded and started to clean. I grabbed a view weapons and a sharpening stone that I found in the blacksmith. I sat down on the couch and put on some music and started to fix the weapons.
