Hey i just want to say hey to all of the cholo, scenie meenies, gringos, or whatever you are a shout out and say i love you all with my broken heart. Keep on living and don't give up no matter what. I have been through so much shizz in my life its hard to count....constantly dreading each day....but its your turn to make the best of your life so please ...as dahvie vanity says " put down the knife, take back your life. if you give up tonight, you give up one me". Chapter 1

My name is Violet Grey, but my friends call me “Vi” for short. Today is my sixteenth birthday “fancy ooh”, and you expect me to go crazy about how life is going to be different. I do hope my life will be different, I just wish I could change what’s actually going to change my life forever. Before you get all confused I will just tell you about the story of how my undesirable future turned into…wait you will just have to figure this one out yourself :) Going back in tiiiiiiiiiiimmmmmmeeeee ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

“Vi” a warm breath tickled my ear.

I immediately shivered. I was quite annoyed by the disruption, so I sat up and peeled the covers off my body. I rubbed my eyes like a child and opened them to see the figure in front of me. My vision was blurry at first, but then I finally made out the tall dark figure.

“Derek!” I shrieked in a hushed tone,” What the hell are you doing here?”

“I wanted to wish you an early birthday” He flashed his infamous grin at me, then stopped and began staring uncomfortably at me.

“What?” I asked wondering what was wrong that caused him to act strange.

“Ahem” He points his finger to my attire.

I looked down and gasped. I was only wearing my bra and boy boxers

Yes I love boxers, they are really comfortable. The bra however just happened to be black with lace on it.

I looked up at Derek realizing how uncomfortable he must be. Luckily he wasn’t looking at me, so I quickly leaped out of bed and changed in my bathroom. When I got in there I gasped at how messy my hair was. My midnight black hair was knotted so much a bird would climb in! I quickly grabbed a comb and raked it through my hair. Finally, I came back five minutes later in my boxers with a white V-neck on.

“S-S-Sorry about that” I mumbled to Derek. He was flushed an electrifying red. I wanted to chuckle, but I decided it would make him more embarrassed than he was before.

Derek turned around and smiled. “Don’t worry its fine” He gave me his flawless smile.

Even in the moonlight he looks great. He has the typical scene hairstyle, toned abs, pale skin but not pasty, emerald green eyes, and full plush lips. Any girl would die to kiss those luscious lips. I have to admit even though he is my best friend and all; I would love to know how it feels to kiss him. There is just one thought in my head that stops me from wanting him to be with mine. I don’t know what exactly it is, but there is a lingering spot in my mind telling me he is a bad idea.

“Sorry Derek, but thanks for dropping by, but sadly I am tired and I really need to sleep” I whispered to him as I sat down on my bed. I moved around and a found the most comfortable position.

“Nah, it will be okay” Derek whispers. “Besides enjoy the last of your sleep because after your birthday you will not need any” Derek mumbles the last bit.

“What?” I ask.

“Oh nothing” Derek reassures me.

“Good night, I love you” I mumble to him in my pillow.

“I love you more than you can ever imagine” He mumbles into my forehead. Derek kisses my forehead and leaves out my window.

The thing is since me and Derek love to hang out; we decided we should make a way to have our windows easy to get into. I built a tree house that connects to my window balcony to Derek’s tee house. The only difference is my tree house has nothing inside and Derek keeps things in his. Derek’s tree house is like his sanctuary. He only lets me inside there surprisingly. He doesn’t even let his sister in and they have a great relationship with eachother. The main items he keeps in there are his instruments. He has a wide variety of guitars and drum sets. He keeps it very clean and tidy.

Yup! Derek is a uncontrollable neat freak……

He never lets me or anyone else touch his instruments. One day I did however play his favorite guitar. He still hasn’t found out, besides that, I go to his tree house about four times a week. He is truly a great friend to have and I love him dearly for that. He will always be the best thing that has happened to me.

I sighed as I got comfortable and let my body melt away into pure bliss. My eyes started drifting to sleep just when I heard my door crash open.

“Vi” My older sister Jessica walked in scared to death.

“Yes, what is it Jess?” I slur the words.

“Please, oh please don’t get mad. I mean I never meant for this to happen. I know that you will hate me, oh wait I don’t know that. Yea I just won-“she rambles on.

“Wait what? Start again I don’t understand” I respond to my sisters rambles.

“I sold you to a Vampire lord Vi!” She shrieks quietly.

“Ha-ha Jess” I mumble. I was so not in the mood to be interrupted a 12 am just for this nonsense.

“I’m not joking!” She hands me a contract, expecting me to understand.

I take the paper and read carefully

Dear Jessica Amethyst Grey,

Thank you for summoning our Vampire lord and requesting a wish. We are gladly able to safely say your wish has been granted. Your wish of eternal fame and fortune will be granted on September 17Th, 2022. You may recognize this as your sister Violet Rose grey’s birthday. This has to do with the price of your wishes. On your sister’s birthday your wish will be granted for the cost of one bride to our highest Vampire lord, Derek Light. You may recognize him as your sister’s best friend. We are about to tell you top secret information because we know that since violet will be counted as family from now on she should know him a little bit better. Tell Violet that even if she tries to run from marriage she will fail, Derek is not called the highest lord for nothing.

Light has committed crimes against the vampire council. He released all newborn vampires into the city. We are still following up on this case

September 11, 2001

Light sent airplanes filled with vampires to New York to kill millions of people inside the twin towers and suck their blood. He covered this incident by calling it a terrorist attack. He is now being held hostage for 10 years.

December 21, 2012

One year ago light just got out of council jail. Light plotted to end the world using an explosive designed by immortals that kills every mortal except the forever living. The council successfully stopped his plot before it worked. Light was kill crazy. He did not realize that if there were no humans or animals, there would be no blood to feed on anymore.

September 17Th, 2022

The marriage of Violet and Derek is pronounced. The marriage will be held at Derek’s kingdom. The time will be at 4:00 pm at the Main Ball Room…….Time updated 12:01 am

I stared blankly at the page. I was in total shock, first, Derek is a vampire lord, secondly, I have to marry him, and thirdly, he has a history of several crimes and currently is on the run for more.

I look up at Jess “You have got to be joking” I glare at her.
