Lilly had been blind since her car accident. It was over a year ago when it happened and getting used to walking about without being able to see was a chore and a half.

But there was some good to come after it.

There was a man she ended up meeting at a cat cafe, near where she lived. Whenever he spoke to her a strange thing would happen.

She'd suddenly start to smell sunflowers and see the color yellow. It was strange, but being able to see even a single color was phenomenal.

So as the two kept meeting at the little cafe, she began to fall harder. Every flash or sunny yellow when he'd laugh, or a waft of those tall flowers when he spoke her name.

She just needed to get up the courage to ask him. Her friend Inko kept prompting her to do so, but every time she tried, words would vanish and she'd more often than not, run into something. Mostly tables.

Today she made a decision, that she wasn't going to be a coward. Today she was going to tell him, rejection or not.

Lilly entered the building, only to hear her name being called by a deep familiar voice. "Lilly!"

She turned her head and bumped into a solid wall.

The wall spoke. "Are you alright Lilly?"

It was him! She didn't realize how build he was. His chest must have been made from solid muscle if she mistook him for a wall.

"I-I'm fine. Um, I-" She was interrupted.

"Before we go any further, I'd like to ask you something, Lilly." The man stated.

"Alright..." The smell of sunflowers returned with a vengeance.

"I know we've only known none another for a few months now, but, Lily, w-would you give me the honor of letting me date you?"

A blast of color and smell swirled around her like she was caught in a tornado. She was speechless.

After a few minutes, her friend's timid voice was heard. "Lilly?" Sunflowers again,

REalizing she hadn't given him an answer quickly shook her head and cleared her throat. "Ah, um, yes! Yes, I'd love to date you Toshinori."

He then spun her around with a laugh as yellow flowed across her blind eyes.

She couldn't hold it in any more. She gave him a large embrace as she cried.

"Thank you...thank you so much." She could feel the tears falling.

He was unsure why she was thanking him, but quietly replied. "Your welcome."
