"Today was wonderful, I made a new friend," Sakura said to herself as she lay on her back on her bed, she had changed into her white nightgown and was ready to go to sleep but she couldn't for some reason.

There was something off with the atmosphere in her room, it felt like someone else was inside the room with her. A presence that she couldn't see but feel, Sakura had the lights on but there wasn't anyone there.

'Maybe because it's a full moon tonight, ' Sakura thought to herself as she stares out of her window to see the moon shining brightly in the dark sky, Sakura got off the bed and opened her the door to her bedroom.

Her parents had already gone to sleep as it was already midnight, Sakura quietly tiptoed out of her room to the garden outside the house. There she could see the huge cherry blossom tree that had been there for three generations of her family history, her great-great-grandmother planted it when she was a young girl and it grew so big that every spring the petals creates a blanket of cherry blossom petals on the ground.

It was a magnificent sight to see, Sakura would lay down in the petals and her parents always said that her hair blends in so well with it. There's one secret that no one knows about when she was 8 years old, her grandmother showed her the secret to the cherry blossom tree. There was a secret door just below the roots that her great grandmother had created as a secret hideout, Sakura's grandmother wanted to show her this because she felt like the tree was a part of Sakura herself.

Sakura and her grandmother would secretly sneak into the secret room that was hidden when the full moon is out as room was illuminated by the moon's light, the room was filled with old books, toys and old stuff that her grandmother had collected. Sakura always thought that no one can take her grandmother away and that she would always stay with her forever but it didn't happen, when she turned 13, her grandmother passed away peacefully in her sleep.

Sakura was devastated when she received the news from her mother as she just got home from school, she cried the whole night and would sometimes fall asleep underneath the cherry blossom tree. The place that she and her grandmother had always spent time together, Sakura kept the room clean and would visit it every time the full moon is out.

"I should go and clean the room, " Sakura said quietly and she stood upon the huge cherry blossom tree, she looks around and walked to the back of the tree where the secret latch was. You have to really look closely to find it, Sakura pulled it open and there was a little staircase going down.

Sakura went down the stairs until there was a door that had vines growing over it and a green gem in the middle with ancient carvings on it, her grandmother found the door in an antic shop when she was a teenager and decided to use it here since it gave off a fantasy like look. Sakura took out a key that was tucked in her nightgown, a key that only she could open the door since her grandmother had passed away.

Inside, the room was glowing with a white sheet of moonlight, Sakura smiled and began to clean the room up. She organized some old fantasy books, adventure stories and maps, toys like a compass and a watch, some old papers that had weird writing on it. After all of the cleaning, Sakura sat down in the soft carpet as she took a big book from the shelves that had been put in the room, it was a photo album.

It was filled with pictures of her as a baby, her grandmother who was playing with her, there was also some old photos of her family and Sakura kept it in perfect condition as she wants to remember it. Sakura looks around and a smile sprouted from her lips, she loves this room so much, there's another thing that her grandmother had left her.

It was too big to fit through the passage to the room so her grandmother had put it inside her room where Sakura could use it every day, it was a family heirloom that had been pass down her family from the ancient times. Sakura's mother was the previous owner of it and now it was Sakura's turn, she saw it every day.
