"I am going to Delhi tomorrow, for 2 days. I have my College Alumni Meet."

"Okay", said Neil nonchalantly, who had his eyes glued onto the TV screen, watching the football match between Manchester United and Arsenal.

"Okay?" Avni didn't expect Neil to behave so casually. She expected him to argue with her and thought that he would not have allowed her to go.

"Cool then. I will go and pack my stuff."

Avni was about to leave when a loud shriek made her stop.

"Pack my stuff?" Neil almost shrieked. "Why, When, Where are you going?" That's when Neil lifted his gaze from the TV screen to look at Avni.

"I guess I just told you, didn't I?" Avni glared at Neil. "And you just said Okay", she air quoted okay.

"Umm...I am so...sorry. I didn't hear you, Avni." He smiled sheepishly, scratching the back of his neck.

"Wow. Great, Mr Khanna." She said in a sarcastic tone.

"I am sorry na wifey. Now tell me, where are we going?" He said being excited like a child.

"We? When did I say that "we" are going? Only I am going. To Delhi. Tomorrow. For two days. You stay here with your darling, TV, and enjoy the match."

"2 days...48 hours...2880 minutes...172 ughh, let it be. NO. You are not going", Neil reprimanded."Stop acting like a loon Neil", she averred being miffed.

"First and the foremost thing, I didn't come here to take your consent but to inform you that I am going. Secondly, stop wasting my time with your senseless talks. I need to prepare for tomorrow."Avni stomped off from there, leaving a disappointed Neil behind.
