“Tsk! damn this rain!”
I was sitting on the bench when a guy sits beside me and say those words.

I looked to the sky to feel the raindrops on my face, painted a smile on my lips, and close my eyes.

“Aren't you feeling cold?” he said.
I just imagine the lines that must've been drawn on his forehead and shooked my head.

“I have an umbrella inside that bag, you can use it if you want,” I told him.

~“Rain symbolizes hopes and blessings. Always remember that, Stella.”~

A guy who had a big part in my life once said those words. But, I cannot see it in my situation.

“B-but why are you not using it? You're weird.” he didn't make any move. He just embraces himself instead of getting my umbrella.

“You look like a guy who gets sick easily. C’mon, use it.” I just opened my eyes still looking at the sky.
He still doesn't make any move.

“Mr-” he cut me off.
“Call me Kasper.”
“K-Kasper, may I know the date today?” please… not now.
“It’s February 11, why?”

My jaw dropped.
“F-february 11?” I didn't answer him because I cannot say anything.

“Oh? The rain stop.”
I did not notice it. But, why can't I see clearly?

“I hope it didn't,” I whispered unconsciously.

“Huh? By the way, I need to go-”
“Alyssa…”

“Alyssa? Anyway, I need to go.” he smiled then walked away.

11th of February, the year 2012. It was the same setting, rain is pouring. It was our 3rd anniversary when we decided to meet and celebrate here. It was the happiest day of my life because he asked me to be his wife. We were friends for eight years before that.

But that happiest day of my life became a nightmare.
“L-love, I miss you… I miss your smile, those hazel brown eyes, your laughter, your tight hugs, and sweet kisses. I'm missing every piece of you. I-I'm sorry love, it was my fault…” Now I know, raindrops are not the reason why I can't see clearly but these damn tears.

After he proposed to me. We decided to meet our friends and colleagues at the bar. Hard drinks and party music, the celebration was great. They were very happy for us. He was drunk so I asked him to let me drive the car and bring him home. Part of me thinks that he trust me even though I don't have a license. Part of me also thinks that we should just wait until he's sober. But, I decided to drive him home. On our way, a kid is passing by, I turned the car to avoid the child and hit an establishment. Then I lost consciousness.

The next thing I know is that I woke up in the hospital without a trace of him. Someone told me that he is in the states having his operation. I just heard from his friends that he has amnesia. He forgot everything. Including our memories.

“I know you forget about me. I know you forget the things we've done, the things we used to do. But please, don't forget that there's a girl who cares for you, a girl who loves you. Because I will never forget you.”

“I can still remember your attitude when you feel annoyed and irritated. You have a bad habit of cursing. Maybe the rain-interrupted your schedule. I remember your friendly personality. That's how we became best friends, right? Maybe you find something in me again to be your friend even if I kept on ignoring you. Lastly, I can still remember you're such a hard-headed person. You know you get sick easily. Why didn't you still use the umbrella?”

“I love you, Kasper… ”

God gave me a chance to see you for the last time.

Don't you think it is a little bit unfair for both of us? Fate didn't want us to be happy. After that incident, I discover that I have a brain tumor. Three days left and I'm about to die. All I am wishing for is your happiness. Let's just see each other at that place…
