Four survivors has entered the match consisting of the Lawyer, Prospector, Mercenary and Embalmer. Not a good line up if I say so myself. The survivors spawned separately inside the makeshift replication of the burned down ruins of the Arms Factory that was once owned by the Lawyer's old friend and now a Hunter in the game, Leo Beck.
The second that Freddy opened his eyes and saw the old vintage camera standing near the ruins he spawned. He knew who the Hunter would be for today's match. It won't be easy like the last match they had against The Ripper, Jack. And he doesn't like the odds already. Freddy adjusted his glasses as he took out his map to see where all the ciphers and the other survivors are. He went to the closest cipher he can find then starts to decode.
He was half way through decoding when a flash of blinding light invaded his vision. And the true game begins.
"Focus on decoding!" He shouted to alert the other survivors that the game has truly began. They only have a minute or two before the camera world collapses and it will regress their decoding progress with it.
He can already hear Naib cursing in his ear.
His fingers moves rapidly on the keys of the cipher machine. He was oblivious of his surroundings and too focused on decoding the cipher machine in front of him that he didn't noticed Norton walked up behind him.
"Freddy?" Norton tapped the older man's shoulder. Freddy jumped in surprise, his finger missed a key resulting for him to miss a calibration.
He abruptly turned to Norton. "Don't sneak up on me like that!"
The raven haired boy scratched the back of his neck then smiles sheepishly. "Sorry. I didn't mean to."
Freddy let out a heavy sigh before fixing his glasses and turning his back on the boy. "Just focus on decoding." He told him as he continue to decode the half way done cipher machine.
The miner just nodded and reluctantly start to turn the gears on the side of the machine then shakes the pole attached to it. The Lawyer knew that like the Mercenary, Norton is also bad with machines and would often miss a few calibrations due to some circumstances.
The Prospector arrived the Oletus Manor a few days ago. He is quite a reserved and gloomy person and yet no one can deny that he is truly an eye catching gentleman. He glanced at the younger male then smiles to himself as he shake his head. He's definitely struggling. "Don't worry about missing a calibrations."
The younger male looked at him. "But it will alert the Hunter."
"Then you can save me with your magnet, bad boy." Freddy teased the younger male.
The Prospector blushed a different shade of red as he stared at him in utter embarrassment. Freddy laughed then pats the younger male's shoulder. "Loosen up, Norton. Don't be so uptight."
The younger male was about to open his mouth to retort something back when they heard a shout from the distance. "The Hunter is near me!" It was the Mercenary. And it seems like the Photographer, Joseph, has found him first. In silent agreement, both of them continued to decode the cipher machine.
On the other side of the map, the Photographer managed to hit the Mercenary, inflicting damage to the Gurkha soldier. Thankfully, due to him being immune to the thrill of being in the war. He has a few seconds before the damage fully affects and aggravates his old wounds.
Before the camera world ended, the first cipher machine was popped by Norton and Freddy. After they finished the first cipher machine, they ran towards the nearest cipher machine and started to decode once again.
