"Yes, it's indeed poisoned," Prince Kun said after examining the cup of tea. Renjun insisted we go to Kun first since he was extremely knowledgeable about these things. "The smell is much stronger now and it shall turn the tea into a different color after some time."

"I don't understand," Hendery said. "Why would they take the trouble to get this specific poison when there are other ones here which are easy to get?"

He did have a point.

"Honestly, the poison here is curable as it's very week," Kun explained. "The victim can of course die, but that's only after a day or two."

"So someone purposely got this specific poison so that Y/N would die immediately?!" Jeno said angrily although he looked more concerned than angry.

"It sure looks like it," Renjun said.

"We need to start investigating this immediately," Jeno said.

"You must talk to King or Queen Na or Jaemin hyung first," Jisung said. "We can't do anything about it without their permission first."

He was right. This wasn't our Kingdom that we could do as we pleased.

The door bursted open and Mark, Taeyong, Donghyuck, Jaemin, Jaehyun, Yangyang, Johnny and a familiar man walked in, laughing as they talked.

"Y/N do you know what Jaemin did—" Mark said while laughing but he immediately shut up when he saw our serious faces. The rest of the guys also stopped smiling after they saw us. The atmosphere was thick with tension and everyone could sense it.

"What happened?" Jaemin asked, concern clearly shown on his face and heard in his deep voice as he scanned all our faces. "Why do you all look so gloomy?"

"Chenle?" Kun said. "Would you like to explain?"

Chenle nodded as he took a deep breath. "Someone tried to kill Princess Y/N."

"WHAT?!"

Jaemin was in front of me in a just a second, scanning my face and body. "Are you hurt? Where are you hurt? Who dared to touch you? Tell me right now."

"I'm okay, I'm not hurt anywhere," I said softly. "I would've been dead if it wasn't for Renjun."

"Thank goodness!" Jaemin said before pulling me into a tight hug and kissing my head a few times.

"What happened though?" Taeyong asked.

The boys listened carefully as Renjun and Chenle explained everything, every little detail. I could feel Jaemin pull me closer to him. He was deep in thought.

Everyone was lost in their thoughts before Yangyang said, "How are we certain that the person was trying to kill Princess Y/N?"

"Only one cup was poisoned," Chenle stated.

"I know, but how are you certain that the cup was for Y/N? There's so many of us here, it could be for anyone," Yangyang said. He had a point.

"No, it was for Y/N only," The familiar Prince said.

"How are you certain, Yuta?" Winwin asked. Now I recognized the man. Prince Nakamoto Yuta of Osaka, known for his extreme intelligence, generosity, strikingly good looks and of course, his beautiful smile that could heal the sick.

"The person who tried to poison her is pretty smart," Yuta explained. "First they use the most dangerous poison for an instant death instead of directly killing her with a weapon which she could most likely survive. Renjun mentioned that you all were already seated before the maid brought in the tray, right?"

We all nodded as we listened to Yuta carefully.

"Right, so if I'm not wrong, the kitchen faces the bridge and the gazebo?" He asked.

"Indeed," Jaemin replied.

"So the person could've easily determined who would get which cup based on how you all were seated," He said. "We all know that a tray is always carried horizontally and then placed either vertically or horizontally, but according to the table at the gazebo, it's vertically."

We were all stunned at Yuta's explanation. Well, he wasn't called the 'most intelligent Prince' alive for no reason.

"So in conclusion, we have an enemy in the castle?" Prince Yukhei asked.

"Yes, we have an enemy in the castle."
