Their eyes intensely stared at the paper as they read further down the page, what could he possibly want?
"Now over the years many people have wanted things from me and it's been easy to grant it, however a king asking for help. That turns a new spring for me, as I could go with the obvious and say ' give me your kingdom' but, as my father gave it to you I'm not going to go down that line. So instead I went with this, make sure your paying attention because I will quiz you when you come to complete it. My proposition for you to complete is..."
Rocking back and forth slowly the two of them soothed each other's tears and worries away. Lamia, or Lola, had spent the time hugging her dear lover as he answered questions she had about what he did when she was gone. After all being immortal meant he could never follow her into reincarnation. So they had a lot to catch up on. Although they seemed like a unique pair, the two had spent a lifetime wishing, hoping, dreaming for if only a small chance to reunite. This was there wish coming true. Lawrence stroked Lamia's hair, breathing in the tantalising smell of Japanese blossoms and cherries. Until he finally spoke saying,
"Well my dear I think it would be best if we found somewhere more comfortable to rest, plus it may be good of us to tell those two. (Indicating to the door) That they are free of my deal, they only have dear old Lucie's to deal with".
Then without a hesitation, he got up and scooped Lamia up. Making her blush a bright red and laugh slightly to the sudden height difference. They looked into each others eyes once more and Lawrence proceeded to carry her out bridal style, to meet the two on the other side of the door.
As this little escapade went on in the room, outside Abigor and Earl had finished reading the letter. They knew their goal, all was left to do was tell Lamia and Lawrence as apparently it was a four man job. It would definitely be interesting.
