Today, I was going to be focusing on the work that my mother and father have left me. I tend to do it whenever I have a big event coming up, and well, a party was coming up very soon. Looking up at the clock, it read 7:15 am and I knew very well that sooner or later M/n's day will start.
"I wonder what he will make for breakfast today.." I mumbled as I tapped the pen on my chin, not even realizing that the ink was dripping on the papers.
A faint knock was heard as it snapped me back into reality. Quickly standing up, I saw M/n with his hair styled different than yesterday as he told me that breakfast was ready.
"Prince Seokjin, the ink from your pen dropped into your work papers. I can rewrite them for you." M/n spoke as I shook my head and gave him a smile.
"You don't have to go through that trouble. I'll just ask that resident to resubmit their proposal." I answered as he hummed before nodding.
"May I have that resident's address? It's better if I go rather than risking your safety." M/n said as I wrote down the address of the resident.
The two of us headed downstairs as he explained what was for today's breakfast. M/n then told me about the dishes that he wanted to serve during the party. I tried to tell him that the party is even for himself, but he insisted on working that day so that he could always be ready no matter what the situation may be.

M/n had just left the castle and couldn't help but be surprised by how rich the town seemed to be. Although he lives here, he never really had the chance to explore and see what was around. Immediately, M/n was greeted with a child running up to him and asking if he wanted to play a quick hand game with her.
"I'm sorry, little one. Maybe later? I have an important task to take care of." M/n said to the little girl who nodded her head and followed the butler to the house.
"Are you going to talk to my mommy?" The girl asked as M/n smiled and nodded his head.
"I promise to be really fast, okay?" Knocking on the door, M/n was quite shocked to see the opposite of what the town is.
Buildings are rich and extravagant, but the residents are nearly the definition of poor; or at least the owner of the current house M/n came to visit is. Quickly snapping back to reality, the butler gave the mom a letter that showed Seokjin telling M/n to go and talk to this resident.
"Good morning ma'am, due to an incident with the prince, we ask to have you resubmit your request to the royal castle." M/n spoke as the mother sighed and shook her head.
"It's fine, my request is a bit selfish for me to do so. You can go back to your castle." The mother said in a sad tone as she continued to make herself occupied by cleaning the house that was basically spotless.
M/n took another look around the house then back at the mom. Things just didn't add in his mind to him, the house was absolutely beautiful from inside and even out. The mom, however, had clothes that looked like they have been worn to the bone and back. Something just didn't make sense to M/n.
Furrowing his eyebrows, M/n began to make possible answers as to why things were looking like this. A lot of the answers tied in with the castle and budgeting money. Letting out a long sigh, the butler finally decided that he would help this mom get back on her feet.
"Ma'am, was your request to have money to become financially stable?" M/n asked as the mom stopped working and slowly nodded her head.
"Things went downhill ever since my daughter was born, but I don't hate or even blame her. I loved her too much to do that. My ex-husband left as soon as he heard that I was pregnant with Victoria." The mom explained as tears threatened to fall on her fair skin.
Looking at her daughter, Victoria happily play with the other kids outside, M/n couldn't help but get chocked up as well. Letting out a shaky sigh M/n took out his wallet and gave her all the money that was left.
"Although I didn't hear all of the story, I promise to come back and give you my allowance. It's not a lot but I hope it will you get back on your feet." M/n said gently as he handed the mom the money who tried to deny the money before accepting it while crying.
"How can I ever repay you?" The mom cried as M/n opened his arms for her to give him a hug.
"You don't have to repay me, I'll be coming every other day to visit you and Victoria. I will take my leave now."

Jin sat in the living room, bored and impatient as every minute passed. Ever since M/n left to go see the resident he had no idea what to do as he waited. He thought about calling Namjoon over so that they could plan for the party, but he just didn't want to do anything today.
"Prince Seokjin, I have returned." M/n spoke as he exchanged his outdoor shoes with house slippers that were given to him by the Queen.
"Great! I was getting bored while waiting for you." Seokjin said as he hopped off the couch and followed M/n to the kitchen.
"I apologize for taking so long, the talk lasted longer than I expected." M/n commented as Seokjin shook his head and gave him a soft smile.
"I finished my work so that I can get to know you more."
