"dr. jeon you have someone waiting for you at the lobby."
"me? well, who could that be."
doctor jeon jeongguk, the prestigious neosurgeon of busan who's also well known as an expert in many fields. saved many lives, even had to work for the military in his first year. his hands do magic, and not those you see in circus. his hands had touched a lot of skin, each different cases, to be operated and stitched. he finished college in his early years, having to enter school at such a young age.
his white lab coat swayed whenever he walks, underneath is his tucked in blue polo shirt and pants, and wore the stethoscope necklace his girlfriend had given him. his chocolate hair fixed the whole look everytime he touches it.
going down the elevator he walk towards the lobby, greeted by many people and saw a woman so gorgeous to his eyes sitting elegantly holding a paper bag.
"gguk! did i disturb you?" from looking so bored the woman hyped up upon seeing his boyfriend.
"chaeng no, it's my free time." he flashed a smile.
approaching to hug her tightly, chaeyoung responded with a peck on his cheek and showed him the lunch she prepared. it was neatly done, rice was seperate and lots of healthy food are cooked, along with a cute tumbler.
"you made this?"
"yes, i figure it's time for you to make homemade food than bringing you restaurant foods."
"let's eat it in my office, alright?" grabbing the paper bag, his other held her hand and walked to the elevator to go to his office. nobody had seen it coming that this doctor would have his own patient to be his girlfriend. park chaeyoung, formerly a patient at this hospital a year ago diagnosed with brain tumor. dr. jeon would cheer her up with funny stories whenever he visits her in her room, even had the guts to send flowers everyday without telling who sent those.
and now, he fell in love with this girl who had her flaws and imperfections and was clinging to life, only to see at the end of the line was him reaching out for his hand.
opening the door to his office it smelled like brand new air condition, a little bit of mint that he often use as air freshener. he placed the food on his table and removed his lab coat, but chaeyoung opposed to it.
"don't take it off, it's still work hours so you need to put it on. besides, i like you with that coat on." he stopped, smiled for a brief moment and approached her, placing the robe to her back and let her wear it.
scanning her from head to toe chaeyoung sighed and widened her arms for him to see clearly.
"you look hot as a doctor."
"i'm getting hungryy, let's eat and take this off me." removing the coat she gave it back, as they sat down and shared their food. when chaeyoung got out of the hospital, that was when jeongguk asked her parents that he wanted to court their daughter, and even after she recovered he still promised to take care of her. chaeyoung was given a chance to live in a dorm with her friends after months of recovering at home.
but he had plans after that.
while he finishes his meal, chaeyoung is still munching on her food seriously while he watches her with a smile on his face.
"live with me." he said out of the blue. almost choking, she coughed with food on her mouth and immediately drank water. jeongguk was sincere and chaeyoung never really thought of living in with someone unless she gets married, and living in with a rich doctor is out of her reality check.
