"Stop! Stop! Stop! You’re hurting me! “I squealed as i was forced into the chair "Please no! I’m only a yougin' spare the life of me and you can create your own mutant alliance!"
"Hush child," Mr. Dictator stated as he abruptly walked into the room, "how did you escape the discoloration of this generation?"
"Escaped?! I barely even know how I am here! I didn't escape anything."
"Do not lie to me. Lying to me is lying to your once known family!" As he claimed this he released a string that had been attached to a dark blue curtain. Revealing my "family" strapped up into the chairs also. Only they were hooked up to clunky machines that gave an eerie feeling to the room.
"SIR! What is my family hooked up to?"
Manically chuckling, "They are set up by the Equalizers and were caught hiding you in the basement. We had told them that if they did not give you to us for questioning there would be severe consequences. They didn’t obey and were sent to the room in which they are now! This room is the colored waiting room."
"But. But they aren’t colored like me! I’m the one who should be in there! I am the colored one!"
"They took one for the team and this team is about to be obliterated if you don’t tell us how you escaped!"
"How I escaped? I don’t understand how you can escape a contraption and a plan so intricately designed," I was trying to suck up to them, “sir... I honestly don’t know how I didn’t get decolorized. "
"YOU LIAR!" And with that my family was instantly diminished. Gone in a flash.
I started sobbing and I knew I would be next if I didn’t come up with a way that I escaped. My life on the line...I had to remember all the times I had lied to my family and bring everything together.
"Mr. Dictator, my mother and my father were hiding me because they were ashamed of what I had done. They didn’t want to give me up because they were too embarrassed to show their faces around me. To be in color you have to have a molecular disturbance in your blood system and that is what makes you immune to discoloration."
"We will run some lab tests on you and we will see if you really do have a molecular disturbance."
They took me into an extremely freezing room in which it was 56 degrees. They had me strip down to my undergarments and lay on the steel gurdy which was centered to the room. I had been laying there for what felt like 30 minutes when the dictator came in rolling a box of sterilized needles and immunizations. He first dilated my eyes, then he numbed my tongue, I thought for sure I was a goner but I realized that he was just doing that so I couldn’t see and talk. I felt the first needle pierce my lower right calf. About a 6 and 1/2 inch needle went past my bone and into my nerve! I couldn’t scream. My eye started watering so much from the pain. Two needles were pressed into my lower back and they were about 8 inch needles. The rest was a blur to me.
My back was covered in frostbite marks and I was shivering from head to toe. They said I was not allowed my clothes... I had to take the mandatory uniform and put that on. A grey shirt, grey pants, grey socks, and grey shoes. Neutralized from my deceiving color.
He spoke in a monotone voice and stated, “You have 10 days of freedom until you will be fully neutralized. The test results will back in 9 days. You will report to the head quarters in 8 days and in 7 days you are to be ready for annihilation of all colored people," he handed me a card with a pass code on it, "show this to the administration...they will understand. Now get your a** out of here."
My head was jumbling of all possible questions I could have and should have asked. Unfortunately, I only had 10 days to come up with a plan to take down the head quarters. I had figured out that I would need to find all the colored people and inform them of when the attacks will start and form an alliance. Mr. Dictator practically laid out his plan to a free girl... I am not the best at keeping secrets. Considering I must inform all colored people... and save the entire country... I had a lot of pressure on my shoulders. I was not sure how and when I could do this; I had to think quickly in order to get the plan in action.
