Visit

The house was now laying in complete silence.
No sounds of pattering feet against the floorboards as they ran throughout the house.
It was quiet.

Steve had begun to notice that (Name) wasn't as excited as he use to be when the boys were around. Becoming very lethargic and wanting to lay in bed for most of the day unless Steve were to forcefully drag him out of bed and make him do some activity just to make sure he wouldn't make himself sick with sorrow.
That was until Steve had gotten an idea.

It was still early in the morning, giving Steve enough time to set up the multiplayer option as he invited two special someone's into the game. Currently they were still sleeping but surely they would see it and decide to visit.
With a confident nod of his head, Steve turned on his heel and quickly made his way back into the home before jogging up the stairs and settling back into bed with his husband.

The sun slowly peaked over the horizon as (Name) grunted, turning over and wrapping the blanket over his eyes as he cuddled into Steve's chest.
Yet, he didn't feel the usual warmth of his husband as he was only met with a soft pillow. He frowned and sat up looking around.

"Steve?"

He asked to the room, figuring that Steve was somewhere in earshot of listening to him before he hoped out of bed and wrapped himself in a jacket. He walked out onto the balcony of the home as he heard a familiar laugh come from the kitchen, looking over the railing he felt his heart explode at the realization of his boys standing with his husband in the kitchen as they talked.
He smiled and ran down the stairs as Steve smiled before turning his sons towards their father.

"Boys!"

"Pop!"

"Dad!"

They exclaimed as they collided in a group hug, (Name) trying to hold back his tears but failing easily as he hugged Maxwell and Simon tightly in his arms. He didn't even realize that they both had become even taller than him, Maxwell being taller than Steve due to his enderman roots. (Name) backed away and wiped his eyes as Steve walked over and gave (Name) a hug with a kiss on the forehead.

"When did you do this?"

(Name) asked through tears as Maxwell and Simon chuckled along with Steve.

"I invited them last night. Figured you could use something to cheer you up."

He said softly to (Name) as said man shook his head.

"Well thank you. Why don't we have something to eat?"

He said as they all nodded in agreement.
