I thought it was a dream,
A made up reality.
I thought it was a dream,
But the torture is real.
I thought it was a dream,
The world redesigned.
I thought it was a dream,
But the pain was true.
I thought it was a dream,
An alternative reality.
I thought it was a dream,
But the screams aren't the only truth.
I thought it was a dream,
A wonderful fantasy.
I thought it was a dream,
But it turns out I was wrong.
What I thought was a dream,
Was our twisted reality.
What I thought was a dream,
Was our tainted truth.
