I was lucky to have a sister like Caroline. She was kind, caring, and loving. But she was only known for her "irregular" features.
Let me explain what I mean.
Her face was misformed, since she came out of our mothers womb, at least that's what our parents told us when we begin to wonder why we looked so different. I always remember each appointment she was taken to, the people who looked at her, would joke and say that I took her beauty away. For the longest time, I believed it.
We both saw the world differently is what I am trying to say. She saw doctor after doctor, she saw hurtful words come one after another. While I saw friendly smiles, friendly words, and compliments. But I knew that anytime I talked to anyone I would feel hurt when people told me that they couldn't believe that we were sisters, let alone twins. And until I hit the age of 14 I was told that I was suppose to be the normal, ordinary daughter. The daughter that my parents would want to have. Again all that changed when I hit the age of 14.
When my world came crashing down.
