The Sun's rays shone through the window, causing you to wake. After blinking to adjust to the light, you got out of bed with a groan. You really weren't much of a morning person, but had no choice to get up early cause you had school today. You quickly got dressed in a (f/c) t-shirt, sweat pants, a hoodie and sneakers. You brushed your teeth and relived yourself in the bathroom, before heading down the hall into the kitchen. You made yourself some toast and ate it on the way to the living room. It was emoem meaning Ryan, your step dad was at work. Your step dad was a giant douchebag. You've been stuck living with him since your mom disappeared, and you didn't have any other relatives to live with. He was a sloppy drunk, that would spend all his free time at some bar drinking and gambling. When he was home he would ignore your existence, except when he was in one of his drunken rages. Then he would take all his anger out on you, beating you till he calmed down. Then he would just leave you there and yell at you to clean yourself up or to get him another beer. Luckily that didn't happen very often as he was the both of you were hardly ever home at the same time now days. He would spend the night at the bar or at a friend's, and you would usually crash at Casey's. You grabbed you bag, and headed out the door. As you locked your door, you were approached by your neighborhood Vic. He and Ryan were drinking buddies, and the guy was a total slob. He was still alot more decent compared to to your step dad.
"Yo, kid. Let Ryan know I got us some beers for drinks later when we watch the game tonight."
"Uh, sure. I'll leave him a note."
"K, thanks kid."
And with he left. You went back In your apartment to leave the note, and left for school. After about ten minutes of walking you made it in the school. As you headed to your locker you accidentally bumped into someone. You looked down to see a red haired girl with blue eyes picking up her books and papers. Silently you bent down and helped her with the last of her things. You both stood and you handed her her books. She smiled and took them.
"Thanks!" She said enthusiastically.
You just nodded, keeping on your normal blank face/frowny face. You started to leave when she stopped you.
"Wait! Don't we have first period together?"
You never really payed attention to people in your class, so you just shrugged at her.
"I remember now. Your (Y/N) right?"
You nodded, and she smiled.
"Cool. I'm April O'Neil. Did you want to walk to class together?"
"I was actually heading to my locker."
"Oh ok. Maybe next time! It was nice meeting you (y/n). Bye!"
And with that she waved and headed off. You finally reached your locker and pulled out your history textbook. You closed your locker and was about to turn when a hand slammed down next to your face. You looked up to see your main bully, Jessica.
'oh joy! I get to deal with her shit first thing in the morning.'
You let out a heavy sigh.
"What do you want Jessica?"
She smirked, and moved a strand of brown hair out of her eyes.
"Well you could start by getting on your knees and grovelling. Or better yet you can just go and kill yourself already. You'd be doing everyone a favor."
You rolled your eyes.
"Sure no problem! I'll go do that right now. Bye,!" You said sarcastically.
You pushed your way past her and her little followers. You were almost home free of them when she called out to you.
