The sound of the waves crashed against the rocks is a daily lullaby for the Park's youngest child, Jinyoung. Every time their son asked them to go have a picnic, beach was his favorite place to be at. Especially this one beach with white sand and a clear view of a small island few meters away from the coast line. Jinyoung enjoyed his time making sand castles, playing catch and run with his sisters, or just running around after small crabs.

"Jinyoung! Soyoung! Boyoung! Let's eat!" the mom called her three little ducklings. The three sibling then held a running competition for themselves from where they were currently standing to where their mom and dad sat down. Jinyoung being the youngest who possessed small legs came the latest. He pouted cutely before protesting. "It's unfair, I couldn't run fast, noona!"

"Uuuwww my cute little brother is angry huh?" Soyoung couldn't help but to cup Jinyoung's face.

"Jinyoung-ah. You ran so fast! You almost beat me!" Boyoung pinched Jinyoung's pouted lips gently, teasing his brother.

"Eat first, Jinyoung-ah. That way, you can beat your sisters next time" his dad gave a piece of strawberry sandwich to his son. With his tiny little fingers, Jinyoung grabbed the triangular layered bread and ate it. No more pouting, he was so happy with his precious sandwich.

After all the delicious meal and beverages, Jinyoung ran his little ass off to the beach again with his small blue bucket and a small green shovel. He chose his new territory to build a new castle since his last one was destroyed by what he called a tsunami. Normal wave, really, but he lost his sand kingdom because of it.

"Um, hello, is this yours?" a tiny voice spoke to Jinyoung.

"huh?" Jinyoung turned his body to where the voice came. There stood another little boy, looked like he was his age, with straight hair and small eyes. He handed Jinyoung a purple cup.

"I think that's yours. I found it over there" the boy pointed to the ruins of what looked like a once majestic sand castle.

"Oh, thank you! Yes, it is mine" Jinyoung smiled. "I'm Jinyoung!" he stuck his hand out.

"Jaebeom" the other boy answered shyly.

"Jaebeom! You want to help me build a new castle here?"

The boy turned his head around to see his parents. Jinyoung saw his mom and dad having a friendly conversation with another mom and dad. He assumed they were this boy's mom and dad. "I'll ask mom first"

The little boy ran to where Jinyoung's parents sat down together with the other two people. not long after that, the boy came running back to where Jinyoung stood. "Mom said okay. Let's build a huge castle!" he reported to Jinyoung happily. Jinyoung who heard that was also happy.

"Yay! Let's go!"

The parents were having conversation while they observed their children playing near them. Two boys with their kingdom and the girls with their sticks drawing some cartoons on the sand.

"Jinyoung?" the boy called his name.

"Yes, Jaebeom?"

"I have a question"

"What is it?" Jinyoung put his shovel down to listen to what Jaebeom had to ask.

"Why are your ears so big?" he asked innocently. He had been observing Jinyoung for a while.

"Oh!" Jinyoung smiled. "Mom said that I have big ears so that I can be a good friend to others!" he answered brightly.

"huh?" the boy in front of him squinted his eyes.

"I have big ears to listen. That way, my friends will be happy playing with me because I listen to them well. She said that my big ears are my blessing. If my friends want to talk to me, I listen. That's what she told me!" he smiled ear to ear explaining this to Jaebeom.

"Wow! That is amazing. I wish I have big ears" Jaebeom looked sad.

"It's okay, Jaebeom-ah! You have small ears, I have big ears. You talk, I listen!" Jinyoung spoke very proudly. He's so happy about his ears. He's proud of them. He believed what his mom told him was true. He wanted to be a good friend for his friends. Also to Jaebeom, his new friend who he met just recently here at the beach.

Who knows what fate has brought upon these two little boys.
