Chapter-5 :Flustered

Things around them feels like are now in slow motion, they way Jeongguk bends down to get a clear view of Taehyung.

The blonde flinches when the ravenette flicks his fingers against the corner of his lips where Kai punched him.

"it is already forming bruise" Jeongguk mutters under his breath as he shifts his gaze away from those soft plumpy lips which is quite hard since he has been staring it without even realizing.

Taehyung has a frown plastered on his face as he very gently pushes Jeongguk's hands away from his face.

"I know you are finding it a bit uncomfortable but let me treat this for you" Jeongguk breaths out, his voice etched with concern surprising Taehyung as a humorless laugh escapes from his mouth.

"do you really think that I will believe that?" Taehyung asks with mockness in his voice and Jeongguk knits his brows together.

"What do you mean by that" Jeongguk questions back making Taehyung stare at him, deeply and piercing.

"Don't  think me of as one of your stupid targets around which you keep playing off, that's not going to work on me" Taehyung says, seriousness covered in his voice making Jeongguk to stand up and step back.

"Before you get any wrong idea, I am not interested in you. I was just trying to be civil" Jeongguk clears his throat and Taehyung's firm expression softens a bit.

"But you were watching Kai doing things with me -" Taehyung is interrupted by Jeongguk who steps forward, carefully not stepping in his personal bubble,respecting it.

"But I did stepped in when he was about to hurt you" Jeongguk utters voice deep and octave low. His dark eyes now locked with taehyung's soft brown ones.

The silence between them but their hearts are pounding inside their chests,minds screaming to stop whatever is happening yet heart is too strong to get it's demand.

And guess what. Heart won.

Jeongguk lifts his arm up as his fingers touch taehyung's lips, softly caressing it as his eyes turn hooded.

"I warned you about Kai" Jeongguk whispers sending a wave of chills down Taehyung's spine.

"do you want a ride back home?" Jeongguk softly offers as Taehyung finds himself leaning in for touch, warmth seeping throughout his body as he softly nods.

Jeongguk places the money on the table as he leaves first with Taehyung following him. Taehyung watches Jeongguk in awe when he takes the helmet out.

"I don't usually offer rides so here, you put it on" Jeongguk says as he gives Taehyung the helmet.

Taehyung smiles gratefully at that, puts the helmet on but struggles with locking it.

An adorable pout adorns his lips, a whine leaves from his lips when he can't lock the helmet which Jeongguk notices and chuckles softly at that, shaking his head.

He walks towards him and helps Taehyung, while doing so Taehyung's gaze falls over Jeongguk's arms.

Those muscular veiny arms - - Taehyung visibly gulps as his hands unconsciously slides with Jeongguk's, the contact bolting electricity inside their bodies.
