The last thing I planned for myself was to be used in this way. This isn't right, neither is Alex's logic. He thinks Aidan is doing all this to make me jealous, and it's ruining his chances. Even though it was the funniest thing (Aidan and I), I was starting to think that Alex believed that I was going along with his story.
But I was absolutely not.
You think you know someone, but you don't...you really don't. You know those athletes that are all about winning? And the ones who kill themselves if they don't? Alex started to occur to me as one of those...but more deranged. It...well...he was getting on my nerves. But I myself did not know what to do, I had nothing to do. This would entertain me, so why not.
'So you're going with me right?' Alex pressed. Yeah, I was the second option. Go with him so Aidan will get a 'taste of his own medicine.' I certainly minded it now, because I felt not a trace of jealousy, but just a pure state of calmness. I decided that I will just go along with it, because, I decided not to care.
'Sure,' I said, giving him an unenthuasistic, official agreement.

'I'm glad Alex and I sorted out everything this morning, now I'll be going out, goodbye Nads, until we meet again,' Aidan said dramatically as he made his way towards the front door.
I sat cross legged in the black parkers and bright pink tank top. All I had to do was wait for him to leave, grab my jacket off the hanger and then Alex would come get me. I decided to push Aidan into telling me some details before he left.
'Oh!? You're going out? Without telling your best friend where? Aidan are you going to meet a drug dealer..or nah? Why are you dressed so nicely though? You look great by the way. You must be going somewhere fancy, because you actually remembered to put on two of the same coloured socks. Is there a dress code in effec--- '
'Nadia, guess what?'
'What?'
'Nothing, I just wanted you to shut up.'
'You are so blunt and rude.'
'One of the many reasons why you love me.' Couldn't deny that.
And with that, he left. It was more than 10 mintues passed, when Alex finally showed up.
