The following list are the only options of races/species you can make your character out to be. The only exception to this rule is if you want to make your character some unlisted mix of two different races. Please no gnome x giant. For some context to the places mentioned in character bios, please look at the page image.

Humans
Region(s): All over Mundan and some surrounding islands
Magical Affinity: Magical abilities vary greatly from human to human, some bloodlines have more abilities than others. Most magical humans now only come from the Turtle Isles.
Physique(s): Humans have a wide range of physical traits, skin tones ranging from nearly Snow White to black coal and everything in between. The average human height is around 5'8, but many are much shorter or much taller. Hair colours come in any colour of the rainbow (depending on magical alignments of their families) but brown and blond are the most common. Humans may have freckles, birthmarks and anything like that. Eyes also may be any color and can have animalistic pupils depending on magical alignment. Humans can be any build, slim, heavy, lean, built.

Faë
Region: Orfelon
Magical Affinity: Most faë are proficient in at least one purely elemental type magic. These abilities stem from that of the world tree, a massive plant that houses an insane amount of magical energy, it is one of the worlds biggest magic hotspots similar to the turtle isles.
Physiques: Faë are generally much taller than humans, their average height being around 6'3 rather than 5'8. Just like humans though, some are shorter and some are taller than the average. Faë rarely have darker skin, many range from pure snow to dull grey, though some older families lines are known to have members with light blue skin. Faë also can be told apart from humans by their ears. They have much larger, pointed ears than humans do. Faë tend to see large ears as a beauty status, adorning them with as much jewelry as they can to draw more attention. Most Faë only have eyes in "cool colors", so pastel blues, purples, and greens. Very very rarely, mostly in the same families that have blue skinned members, will you see a Faë with yellow eyes. Most of these individuals have very pale or pastel hair, dark colours just don't show up. White and grey are the most common, but some families have pale pink, blue, purple and even green. Markings on the skin are very rare, so no freckles or birthmarks really. They also tend to be fairly slim, some even being eerily so. Faë generally wear a lot of light, flowing clothing no matter what gender they are

Halflings
Region: Halflings are a mixed race from both humans and Faë parents, but many pure Faë shun the mixed blood, so they tend to live all around Mundan rather then Orfelon.
Magical affinities: Halflings tend to take after their Faë parents in the magical department, many are able to control one element with enough practice.
Physiques: Halflings have a genetic pool from both races. They aren't normally as sort as humans, but aren't normally as tall as Faë. Because of the mixed race, Halflings have a much wider range of skin, hair, and eye colours. They can have any mix of either of the races. That being said though, it has been noted that many Halflings seem to have one "human colored"eye, and one Faë colored, a darker eye and a pastel toned. Halflings generally aren't ever as stocky or heavy set as humans can be, but they are also almost never as thin as pure Faë. Some Halflings have Faë styled huge ears, and some have smaller human ears. Since Halflings tend to live amongst humans more, they tend to wear the same clothing rather than ghostly gowns of Faë.

Pallums
Region: Lost Region
Magic: Some pallum are capable of learning written magic, but it's very rare to see these little ones using it
Physique: Pallum are normally very short and overall petite. They tend to be fairly pale with pink around their noses and cheeks, as well as around their knees. Their eyes are abnormally large, sometimes seeming too big for their faces, and they tend to be either pale yellow, blue, or light pink. Many pallum have varying types of blond hair ranging from almost white to nearly brown, but pink and blue hair tones are also fairly common. One key factor of a pallum is their animalistic ears and tail. The most common types to see are those of cat breeds, but some more rare outcomes show fox and wolf tails/ears. Not all pallum have both tails and ears, some family lines only show one or the other. The most rare genetic outcome to see in a pallum is bunny tails and ears. Most pallums like to play up their cute factor no matter what gender they are, almost always looking like they are ready for afternoon tea parties with how they dress.

Whyremen
Region: Eethden badlands
Magic: All Whyremen are moderately to extremely proficient in transformation magic, specifically body morphing. All can transform, but not all are able to control when or where the transformations happen.
Physique: Whyremen generally look like stockier humans, lean individuals being very rare. They are never pale skinned, being either tan or very dark, or in between that. Grey, black, and red eyes are all common, white eyes being the rarest. No other eye colours are seen in this race. Most individuals have moderately to extremely pointed/sharp animalistic teeth. Depending on their family lines, all Whyremen are able to transform into a anthropomorphic beast whether on command or by force of magical nature. Wolf and lion appearances are very common, bears are also possible. Other big cat species are possible genetic outcomes, but canines are limited to wolves as smaller ones have been rooted out. Whyremen of both genders are known to be extremely uncaring of clothing, most running about in scraps of human clothing and nothing more.

(The following two races were written by my friend and not myself. They are still canon)
Gnomes
Region: Azkabol - Isle of Gnomes (A large island in Eethden)
Magic: These fuckers can warp everywhere. And I do mean everywhere. They really do not have a concept of limits when it comes to it. In fact, they're so good at it that they're shit at every other sort of magic.
Who knows, maybe a few of them are just sane enough to be able to practice other magics without ever being able to Slenderman/Weasly-twins teleport AT ALL.
Physique: No matter how tall you are, either 7 feet tall or about 5'3, they will always reach up to a specific point on everyone's legs. For example, their estimated height is about half your shin length when standing right next to you... And half the shin length of your friend's, who is significantly taller/shorter than you, when standing next to them.
They love having beards, even the females have a beard.
They're also generally scruffy.

Ohtiv - "Snow Maidens"
Region: Tih' Ohtiv (A very large island in Eethden)
Magic: What they have is what they learn from their education in Tih' Otiv. Telepathy is a favoured recommendation for all members of the Ohtiv. Not all of them are very good, or very bad at it, most are average.
Physique: So tall. Foreigners to Eethden will automatically assume that they're the giants of the region. Their estimated height is about 7-8 feet tall.
Their genes are so fucking dominant that a halfling cannot be born out of their race. At most, they'd be able to retain certain features from their father's side such as slightly pointy ears or slightly... anything really. ONLY SLIGHT, and only noticed when pointed out.
Males do not exist in this race, only women. All of them are women.
They generally love having long hair. I mean, it certainly does help with the weather they're used to. They'd often tie or plat their own hair into their clothes for the extra warmth when it's especially cold. Did I mention their hair is also a pale blue? Heck their SKIN is is also super pale. Why? Because the Isle that they live in is constantly plagued with blizzards, and the only times when it is "sunny", is when there are light snows and the sky is white clouds that still manage to blotch out the sun. But that's a good thing, considering this race is so used to not ever feeling the rays of the sun that they practically fear it for it being able to easily singe their skin... They usually stay in on "sunny" days, or carry specially made parasols just in case.
