[OLD!] Phobias | SML AU

Joseph rolled his eyes. "Let's started unpacking some of our stuff." Joseph said as he took his bag off of his back and unzipped it.

Junior took off his backpack as well. He glanced at Cody on top of the bunk bed and then saw Jeffy lay down on the bottom bunk.

Junior turned to Joseph. "Looks like we have the other bunk bed" Junior said "do you want top or bottom bunk, Joey?"

Joseph ignored the nickname and replied with a simple: "I don't care." Junior shrugged and unzipped his bag looking inside of it.

Junior looked at what was inside of his bag. Chef Pee Pee packed his bag, so Junior had no idea what he packed. "Hopefully some sort of light" Junior thought.

Inside the bag was, multiple pairs of clothes and pajamas, snacks, a notebook, and a flashlight.

"That's it?" Junior asked himself. "Just a flashlight? What if that's not enough light? What if it's still too dark?" Junior took a breath and calmed himself down.

"It will be enough light" Junior reassured himself. He went to the bunk bed on the right side of the room, since Cody and Jeffy were already on the left side.

Junior picked the top bunk, but only because of one thing. It was right next to the window, so he wouldn't be in complete darkness. But Junior was still gonna keep his flashlight on.

After a couple hours of talking, one of the assistants came in the boys' cabin telling them it was time for dinner.

Junior, Joseph, Cody and Jeffy all walked out of the cabin, not noticing that Toad didn't follow them.

For dinner the camp served them hamburgers. Junior thought they were absolutely disgusting, but it was better than Chef Pee Pee's cooking, so he ate it.

Then each group got to sit around a campfire and roast marshmallows while the sun went down.

As the sun started to disappear from the sky Junior started to get nervous. Junior had always been afraid of the dark. At first it was normal because it was a common fear for a young child to have.

But Junior was much older now and he was still afraid of the dark. Chef Pee Pee ended up taking Junior to the doctor and Junior was diagnosed with Nyctophobia.

Junior was scared to tell the others about his phobia. Kids at Junior's school would always pick on him for it.

Junior decided he wouldn't tell the others. At least not yet. He still didn't fully trust them. He need to gain their trust first.

Junior quietly got up and began walking back to the cabin, but was stopped by a voice. "Where are you going dude?"

Junior turned around and looked at Joseph. "To the cabin" Junior replied. "But it's early!" Cody whined.

Junior didn't reply and started running towards the cabin. He quickly ran in and slammed the door.

He started to run to his bed but he tripped over something on the floor. "Ow!" the object said. Junior then realized it was Toad.
