Hebrew POV

Its been 3 days now since I've been on Lone star pack land as a guess wolf.

I was here because my mate was somewhere on this land and I need to find him right away so we could go home together.

But it has been days and not a sign of him, Alpha TeX even had his pack wolves out looking but nothing as yet.

Vincent had delay his flight so he could assist me in looking, his help was appreciated but he need to return home.

He would be taking my place for the time being as captain of Alpha guards.

But he persisted and after and heated discussion I relented, Vincent help me search there pack land also there neighbors as well, with the packs approval of course.

Our search bared no fruit, I decided it was time to have Vincent fly out because he was needed more by the pack than me.

On the third day today, I drive Vincent out to the airport. As he was about to board his plane, I gave him a big hug and thank him.

"No problem, Hebrew your my best mate, just call if you need anymore help with your mate," he says after I release him from our hug.

"I will," I tell him while patting him on his shoulder, he gave me a salute and bored the jet.

Driving back to Dallas's house took me around 20 minutes, I parked and took a deep breath.

The air was dry and smelled of pine, this only made me miss my home more, because I've become accustom to the smell of salt in the air ever since my dads escaped persecution and came to the island as refugees.

After relaxing myself, I step into the house and my nose is assaulted my the aroma of the food being prepared.

I went into the kitchen to assist, around the stove was Dallas's mate and fiance Lamar who was quite pregnant.

His foods was one of the few highlight's that made this place okay, his food and my mate being here.

My mouth was watering, his dishes were on the same level as Kali and that's a feet of its own.

"Do you need any help," I ask and he turns around and shake his head.

"It's okay your a guess here, so go take seat with the boys and dinners is in five," he says.

This was something I tried to avoid because I didn't want to be a freeloader.

I had told them about my plan to stay so I could pursue my mate, they were happy for me and insisted that I should stay with them as long as I'm here.

I had decline there request because I didn't want to over stat my welcome.

Lamar then ask me, "is it that our humble home is not good enough for you," making me tongue tie.

Not wanting to seem like a snub, I gracefully agreed, the memory is a constant reminder not to go against that witch.

Heading into the dining room, I saw there son around, with my advance hearing I could  tell he was playing a game.

Looking at the kid he couldn't be more than five years old yet he's been through so much.

Sitting down beside him, I take out my phone as we started play the same game as him.

We connect our devices and we started to play together, after a while the door is pushed open an incomes Dallas with his princess in his arms.

There daughter Blanca was such a gem, "hey," he says an acknowledge me, and I greet him back. "Sorry to interrupt you guys but it's time from dinner and somebody hasn't wash there hands yet," he says looking at his son Gray.

"Dad okay, I'll wash them," he says and gets up. Right after he leaves Dallas takes a seat.

"So any luck so far finding him," he ask and takes up Grays phone playing the same game.

I shake my head and he looks at me with a frown.

"Well I accepted no less," Dallas said and that got me confused, "what did he know about my mate that I don't know," I thought.

"What aren't you telling me," I turn to Dallas and ask him, he looked stumped by my question.

"Tell him the truth, because everyone is running around looking for Hector when we really know what's happening," Lamar steps in and say.

He sets the table while looking at Dallas waiting on a response and so was I.

"Okay since you won't I will," he says.

"Your mates not lost or injured he's probably hiding somewhere until you leave because he's a fool," Lamar says.

So my mate was okay that made me happy but to know he was in hiding because of me made me sad, this cause a conundrum in my emotions.

"My heart," I whisper to myself as I think about him.

"Someone has to tell you that your mate is a racist, homophobic, bigot in my eyes," Lamar says.

i was surprise by what I just heard, how could the moon give me someone that will never love me. "Thank you Lamar for being honest with me," I tell him.

"Its good that's what bros are for," he says and pats me on the chest then he continues to set the table.

Dinner was delicious as always, after dinner I did the dishes much to Lamar's dismay.

When the plates were all put away and the kitchen all clean up, I went out side.

As the cool night air blows against my skin, I strip off my cloths and transform into my wolf.

The information Lamar gave me didn't deter me one bit, if anything it made me more determine to find him, so I could make him mine and wash his mind of all hate.

So I went into the woods and start to search.

If you were in Hector's shoe what would you?
