Chapter 1: This Is How My Life Is Everyday

BANG!!!
I jump up from my ounce sleeping figure as I hear loud noises from downstairs.

I swing my legs over the bed and sprint to my window.

"Oh for Christ sake...Dammit!" I say to myself as I see that my fathers car is gone, and the loud noises could mean only one thing.

"GET DOWN HERE YOU PIECE OF TRASH!" I could hear the one thing that I feared most yell from downstairs.

The one thing that I hate. The one thing I would want to hide from. The one thing is a person. My mom.

I really am getting tired of this.

I walk over to my wardrobe and pull out a black hoodie that cover my entire upper body including my hands. And some black shorts.

I head out my room door and downstairs. Half way there I peek over the railing to see bottles on the ground, cigarettes, and other things drunk and messed up people have.

I continue down the stairs till I reach the bottom floor. I walk down the hall and walk into the living room to see my mom.

"WHAT TOOK *hic* YOU SO LOOONG DUMBASS *hic*

"Yep she's definitely drunk" I say to myself but not to where she could hear it. I think..

"What did you just *hic* say" she says getting off of the couch wobbling a bit. I guess she heard then.

I place my arms above my head in defense to what was about to happen but it wasn't enough.

She punched me in the gut and I fell onto the floor. I try to get up but receive a hard crushing kick to to my side and fall back onto the floor.

I felt a burning pain in my side and I knew that my rib cage was broken. I laid there as I received multiple kicks and punches to my body.

The next thing that happened I didn't even know because everything was black. I had passed out.
