It was that night I wished I've never been home alone. My mom left me because her work called her in and told her that she was needed at work immediately so she left me and my dad he died 7 months ago in a fire at his workplace. So my life was going good until I heard a knock on the door, I knew it wasn't my mother because she would unlock the door with her key. I knew it wasn't my mom, but my 16 year old mind was curious, so I opened the door knowing I wasn't allowed didn't stop me. I saw a note it had my name Melissa, so I read it and find out that I was going to die in 3 days and that my mother was dead, but left me the money and food I need. I was scared that my life will end before it began.
Day 1: I stayed in bed all day thinking about my death day and thinking about how I was going to die that I didn't eat or drink anything, then I thought I was going to die like that, so I ate and drank some water then went to bed.
Day 2: I decided that I was going to enjoy the rest of my day having fun. So I when and did my bucket list I started with going to wonderland, then I went to the cheesecake factory and it was awesome and I found out that there are so many different types that's what I did that day.
Day 3: I woke up looking at the ceiling knowing today is the day I die, then I waited and waited and waited then that's when it happened I decided that I wasn't going down without a fight wanting to survive this and to find out why this is happening to me and find out what happened to my mother, so I got up feeling like a new person living a dangerous live fighting death himself, as I left my home I saw an orange cat with crystal clear blue eyes, he was so beautiful I wanted to keep him as a pet, it looked like he had no home so I took him in as my pet kitten "shit I have to pick you up some food I'll be back 'kay" I said to him like he was going to answer back and I left. I was walking down the street with headphones until I heard someone scream "look out" I turned around a saw a truck coming straight for me I got hit, my vision got blurry and all I saw was red then black, I was feeling sharp painful pains all over my body... then I opened my eyes and I was at home just about to open the door and leave to get some cat food "I-I saw m-my own d-death but I-I'm still alive but how"
