Georgiana's POV:
I woke up to an annoying beeping sound coming from my alarm clock. I rolled over and pressed snooze, about ready to go back to sleep before Theo burst in playing a military bugle. I picked up my softball on my bed and threw it at his horn, sticking it in the hole. He frumped. "Party pooper." I sighed and got up, shooing him out of my room. Walking over to my closet, i noticed Asher in his window, without his shirt on. I blushed when he looked over and waved. I tried to fix my messy bed hair, but to no avail. I simply blushed harder and waved back before skimpering into my closet. I picked out a pair of ripped jeans, a new blue, navy, white plaid shirt, and a pair of converse before hopping in the shower and getting ready for school. After i was out and dressed, i blow dried my natural strawberry blonde curls and gathered them into a ponytail. I put on light eye shadow, blue eyeliner and some mascara before walking out. I made my bed and looked over and Saw Asher open his window. I rolled my eyes playfully and walked over to do the same. sticking my head out the window i said
"We're gonna be late you know. School starts at 8." looking over to the clock i saw it was 7:45.
"Actually school doesn't start till 9:30." Was his reply. "Come on." He jumped out onto the roof and i laughed and did the same after calling out to my mom
"We don't start till 9:30 mom- and tell Theo he can walk on his own as punishment for waking my up with his bugle."
"HEY I'm still trying to get your darn softball out of it!" Theo responded. I laughed and yelled back
"Deal with it."
Once i got onto the roof Asher pointed to the spot next to him. I gave him a look but still walked over to his roof and plopped down next to him.
"So. School starts at 9:30 and ends at 1:30? Is that even legal?" I asked him, since i was used to a full day from 7:00 to 4:00 in California.
He laughed and said "They realized that normally, the average students haven't fully woken up until about 10, and that a shorter school day is more effective for the students to get all the rest they need, still do clubs and sports, and still have time to eat, drink, work, date, and have family time. Pretty smart if i do say so myself." He answered.
"That's awesome. So do you walk?" I asked casually.
"Yeah, maybe we can walk together?" He offered. I smiled
"I'd like that."
We sat in a comfortable silence for a little while and i took that as my chance to discreetly look over at him. He was wearing a gray Lone Star music t shirt, jeans, and multiple bracelets over his wrist. His messy blonde hair was all over the place and his hazel eyes had a bit of a spark in them. Cute.
Asher's POV:
My alarm usually goes off at around 8 but i was woken up at 6:30 by... bugle noises? I had gotten out of bed rubbed my eyes and saw Georgiana's clean throw of a soft ball, right into, well who i assumed to be her brother's, bugle. since i couldn't go back to sleep, i decided to get up and get ready. I waved at Georgiana through my window and saw her blush, before i realized i didn't have a shirt on. She madly tried to fix her messy bed hair and waved back. I walked over to my closet to get my clothes and got ready for the day. Soon i saw her reappear at her window and i motioned to her to come up to the roof, seeing we had almost two hours left. She looked gorgeous. She opened it and yelled that we would be late for school. I just laughed and told her how school doesn't start till 9:30. I walked out onto my roof and listened to her telling her mom and brother. I laughed and then smiled at her when she walked out. After chatting for a little while, we sat in silence for a little. Soon we started talking again and before we knew it, it was 9:15.
"Meet you out front?" I asked
"See you there!" She smiled and jumped down. I went back to my room, grabbed my bag and ran downstairs. I called a "bye" out to my parents and shut the door behind me.
"Eager much?" Georgiana said when she walked out five minutes later with piece of toast in her mouth and another in her hand. She handed it to me and I smiled and said
"Thanks, and no, you girls just take to long to get ready."
"Hey!" She said smacking my shoulder. "Forgive me for getting you breakfast" I laughed and said
"You're forgiven." She smacked me upside the head and continued down the street, turning right. I stopped and leaned up against the stop sign as I shouted "school's that way." She walked back past me and said
"I knew that." I laughed and followed her.

As soon as we reached the school, I heard an annoying "ASHER!!MY BOO" Called out and I put my face in my hand. "Really, Brett? Really?" I asked my best friend as he skipped up to me flipping imaginary hair. He laughed and said "watch out, she's just broke up with Trevor, you know she will not stop till you become her boyfriend of the week."
"Um, right, yeah, who?" I heard Georgiana ask. I turned and said
"Scarlett. She's the school-eh girl player you could say."
"Slu-"
"Ashhhhheeeerrrr!" Scarlett interrupted. "Hide me!!" I said, diving behind the bike racks. Georgiana and Brett stepped in front of the bikes to help hide me.
"Where's Asher?" A sickly sweet voice asked Brett. "And who are you?"
"Georgiana, I'm new. And the last time I saw Asher, he was half awake and shirtless." I had to hold back my laughter with a cough and I heard Brett coughing louder to mask it.
"Excuse me?" Miss phsyco replied.
"I think Asher was heading towards Mrs. Wright's class last time I saw him." Brett yelped. I heard a snort and the clicking of heels as Scarlett walked away. I let out a sigh of relief and got up.
"Thanks. And I applaud you Georgiana. Loved it." She blushed and said
"No problem. Although next time maybe you could warn me about clingy umpaloumpas in heels." Brett and I both laughed and I threw my arms around both of them as we headed towards our lockers and then our class. Today would be a great day.
