I hired a baby sitter. When I'm at work I have a nanny to watch my girls, most people would say daycare but ion turst that. I got transferred to another footlocker store. I can't go to college, I gotta provide for my girls both of their mothers ran out on me.

"So what made you move up north?" Steven said (one of my employees)

"I had to much drama going on" I said restocking shoes.

"Like what?" He asked.

"Like, ex girlfriend problems. I Couldn't except the fact that we broke up. I did her wrong and she finally left me for good and got with a guy that actually deserved her. Then my twin brother, I fucked his girlfriend and got her pregnant. He cut me off. Then I got a new girlfriend, but she got pregnant. Now I'm stuck raising two girls on my own." I said summing everything up.

"Damn, sounds like a female situation" he said looking at a female customer that walked in.

"Not really, if I would've did right, by everything in general. I would probably be preparing for a party tonight instead of two babies, don't get me wrong. I adore my daughters but I just wish, I wish I would've did right." I said standing up.

"May I help you?" I asked the lady customer.

"Yes, I need some Jordan's, the ones that dropped today in this size" she demanded looking at her phone.

"Okay" I said walking to the back.

I got the size she needed then walked to the front. "You need to take care of your son. I wasn't the only one that had sex Tae!. . . Yo son been in the world for all of six months and you haven't even seen him in person. You seen him on instagram and that's off your sister phone because you had to move back in with ya momma. . . . . . . . . Nah don't give me that bullshit! You know what forget you. Got me on the phone putting my business out. I'm not even gonna hit you with child support. Just know your son gonna look at you less of a man" she said then hung up.

Steven and I looked at each other than looked away. She walked towards the counter "Is this all?" I asked.

"Mhm. . . Nah wait, I want to buy him some Nike gear" she said turning around. She picked out a couple outfits than came back. "Okay Avery" she said looking at my name tag "this is it. Thank you for your patience" she said.

"Your welcome, your total is $205.67" I said.

She pulled out a black card and swipes it, her phone starts ringing.

She grabbed her bags and walked out. I shook my head at the foolishness and just continued to stock shelves and do what was needed. During my break, I went to burger king and grabbed me something to eat. The rest of the day just went like a regular day, as usual.

I walked into my apartment "Loretta" I yelled.

"Shhh the little ones are sleeping" she said.

I handed her the money and she smiled. "Gracias" she said walking out the door.

I looked around and just stood there. My phone vibrated & it was Shay. Damn I didn't delete her. "Hello" I said.

"Av?" She said.

"Yo" I said sitting on the couches.

"Wassup" she said.

"Nun what you calling me for? Where Justin ?"

"He's dead, I just killed him" she cried.

"What the F- uhm ok"

"I need your help, I can't move his body. My son is crying and I just- I don't- I need-" she cried.

"Okay, text me the address. Let me get a baby sitter" I said.

"Thanks" she said.

I hung up and got my daughters together. I'll take them to my parents house.

"Hazel please watch your nieces for me. I have something to do" I said at the door.

"I'm fin leave." She said.

"No you ain't, it's 11:45 at night" I said.

"Yes I am though, excuse me" she said.

"Here" I said handing her $100.

"It's two of them" she said.

"Haze"

"Move" she said.

"Damnit man, here" I said handing her another $100.

"Okay see you tomorrow."

"Alright I'll pick them up after work tomorrow"

"Cool bye" she said grabbing the two car-seats.

I jogged back to my car. I got in then Shay called.

"Hello" i said

"Are you on your way?" She asked.

"Yes I am, text me the address again. And be looking out" I said.

"Thank you so much Avery" she said.

I hung up, put the address in & went to my destination. Memories of Shay & I creeping around. It was a little hard for me to let her go out if all my hoes. But I did for somebody, but it was to late. Plus Shay rocked with Justin, he a opp.

Minutes past & I rung the doorbell to the address Shay says she's at. She peaked out the Window then opened the door, "hurry up" she says yanking me in her house. Everything is messed up. Blood is everywhere. I must admit, Shay looks damn good. She removed her cheek piercings & taken the weave out. Her hair was on her back straight combed. "His body is in the back. . . I know a place where we can put him, it's in Carbondale by southern university" she said. "Aight, come on".

Matthew

"Sorry Sergeant, but I changed my mind, I don't think this-this marine life is for me, I wanna enjoy an university not adversity. Sorry sergeant for waisting time. Being a marine was. . . I don't know" I said being truthful.

"Well Matthew, it's sad to hear but good luck in life kid" he said opening his door. I hate when people refer to me as kid. I walked out the building and hoped in my car. I made the right decision, no not for just Vi but I'm signing my life away when I haven't even lived. The Marine is cool, but not up my alley. I didn't work hard stressing over test & quizzes for nothing. Ima make the best of whatever I do because I deserve to be successful. It's already late, ima go home and crash. I miss my baby Violet. Haven't heard from her none today. That's my boo. I called her at the red light. Waiting for her to answer I turned on the radio but the volume wasn't high. Hmm, no answer. 11:38 p.m. she's asleep. I just went home to go to sleep.

When I got in the house, I heard arguing. As I got closer I noticed it was my sister & a male's voice, a familiar voice to. I ran up the stairs skipping two. I pushed her bedroom door open to see my sister ex boyfriend on top of her. "What the fuck" I simi yelled. . . To Be Continued!
