Not in the slightest. What do you have in mind?

"Wow. That's...umm...can I change my bucket list?" I gasp, my stomach rolling grotesquely at the sight of Nemesis Inferno. And this is why I have an almost debilitating fear of heights.

"Change it? Why the hell would you do that?" Benedict asks gleefully, bouncing on the balls of his feet in excitement. "Just look at it!"

"Oh, I'm looking," I groan. Why does he have to be so perfectly happy about this? "Benedict, I don't know if I can do this."

"Come on. We'll just do this ride and then we can leave. You can do it. I'll be right beside you the whole time."

"Are you serious? Because if you decide to move back a row to "let me "experience this" myself, I swear to God almighty that I will kill you," I threaten, but he just laughs and holds out his arm like a southern gentleman.

"Strangely enough, I like living, so I'll be right beside you. You don't have to be scared," he comforts. Hesitantly, I hook my arm in his. He smiles cheekily at my touch.

"Good. Let's go!"

The sleek roller coaster harness clicks around over my chest and my heart sinks to my shoes. "Benedict, I can't do this. I can't do it. I can't do roller coasters. Why the hell am I here? I can't do this!"

"Oh, fuck, you're right," he mumbles, groping for my hand. They latch together fingers and knuckles holding tightly to each other. "We shouldn't have done this." What did he just say? I glare at him the best I can in my strapped in position.

"Are you trying to use some reverse psychology on me, buster?"

"Oh, I'm actually terrified of roller coaster, too. I'm perfectly fine when it comes to things like skydiving, but put me on a small metal object hurtling upside down-I'm not okay," he replies sheepishly, dodging my glares. "I'm sorry! You were so adorably pursuing this goal and I didn't want to tell you, but I'm sincerely regretting right about NOW!"

With a spectacular whoosh, the car shoots into the blinding light of the afternoon. Benedict's hand tightens around mine and thrills me more than the ride. Still, screams rise in our throats as we fly over twists and curls. I manage to glance over at Benedict once during the ride; the wind captures his curls and splays them around his head and he has a childlike smile of pure enjoyment on his face. I can't take my eyes off of him. Oh, Lord, I'm screwed.

The ride finally creaks back into the station and we leap out of the ride as soon as our restraints are off.

"I cannot fucking believe that you were scared of roller coasters too," I grumble, clinging to his arm a little tighter as my knees have gone to jelly. He just helps me straighten out and gives me a cheeky smile.

"You were scared too, but you did it. Bucket list item #1 is done!" He declares triumphantly with a fist pump to the air. As if my body moves itself, I reach up and kiss his cheek.

"Thank you for going with me. Let's go?" I ask, blushing stupidly for making a move. What if he doesn't feel that way about me? Than I just ruined whatever chance I had with him by moving at the speed of light. But he's been flirty this whole time! Maybe I overanalyse...

He freezes for a second before smiling, truly smiling. "Yes, let's. Have you got your next item?" He asks huskily, our eyes entwined.

"Yeah, I think I do. I'll call you when I want to do it, okay?"

"Tomorrow, maybe?" He asks hopefully. I blush against and try to look away to play it off. What is this power this man already has over me?

"Are you sure you want to meet tomorrow? I mean, you've just spent the majority of two days with me," I remind him, but he just tosses his head back and laughs.

"Ella Bliss, I wouldn't have it another way," he says. He leans down and gently presses a kiss to my lips. He feels it too! I do a little happy dance in my heart as he pulls me close. "I want to spend time with you. I can only hope you want to spend time with me."

"Definitely," I giggle, staying as close as I can to him as we make our way out of the park.
