[A/N] Some words have an 's' at the end when they shouldn't. It isn't a mistake, I've done it purposely to make the character have a certain personality.
The story of the Rogue Demon Princess~
In the Demon Realm, one of the most powerful royal clans lived in harmony.
The Chihana Clan (Blood-Flower Clan).
Yet a young girl, only around the age of 6, wrecked havoc.
~~~
"Sakura!!! What do you think you're doing?!?!" screamed the head maid, Sukai. Her face was red, contorted in anger, and giving off the expression 'I will strangle you'. She ran down the staircase, chasing the troublesome heir, who was meant to take the throne at her parents passing. Sukai was not fond of the little 'princess'.
Sakura was a major trouble maker. She amused herself by pulling pranks on her family. In one day, she'd taken all of the goumet souls for the banquet, and replaced them with disgusting tasting ones. Also adding to the list, is setting paintball traps all over the manor, creating gigantic messes everywhere. 'Paintballs' were only found in the Human Realm; as to where she gets her materials are a mystery to the unlucky maids.
Sukai was covered, head to toe, in green chemicals. And she was furious.
Sakura ran through the fancy kitchen room, dodging surprised waiters, jumping over tables with her incredible, demonic speed, and grabbing a snack in the process.
Sukai was crashing into everything, trying to keep up with Sakura's immense agility. She also forgot that paint was a 'liquid'. So the manor now had green footsteps trailing on the carpet, furniture, walls, and staircase. Poor Sukai, she would be in more trouble then Sakura.
But who could blame little Sakura? When you're royalty, life is tough and super boring.
1.)Table manors, not the most fun thing to practice for hours on end.
2.)Speech lessons, never even payed any attention to them. To this day, Sakura still speaks childishly. Every so often as to add the consonant 's' to the end of words which shouldn't have it.
3.)Obediance. Wasn't that around a couple centuries ago? Talk about being lame.
If your life was like Sakura's, you wouldn't last a day.
~~~
Running for hours is pretty tiring...
...for a human at least.
The wind rushed past her raven-black hair. Yes, it was 'raven' colored and shiny, just like the wings of a raven. The Chihana Clan was known for having feathery strands of hair. They were, after all, classified as 'raven demons'.
When you're running at about the speed of light, making funny faces at your pursuer, grinning like an idiot, and NOT looking where you're going, you'd probably end up running into some sort of obstacle.
That's exactly what happened.
"Nah, nah, nah, na! Can't catch me!!" Sakura yelled at the maid. She stuck her tongue out and closed her eyes, running backwards. Then she crashed into the head of the entire clan, her father.
~~~
'Oopsies' she thought. 'Maybe I should've cut back on those pranks a little. Wahh, now I'm sooooo bored!!!!!'
Little Sakura was punished soon after. She was grounded. Yes, demon parents ground their children just like human ones. It was pretty comical.
Her punishment was to, and she quoted her father's words exactly, 'Sakura-Hime (Princess Sakura), you are grounded!!!! Go to the dudgeon and think about what you've done!'
Now here she is, sittin' in an ol' dungeon, with nothin' ta do.
'Otousan (Dad) is lame, and up-tight, and boring, and and a meanie!' she pouted in her head.
"I don't wanna be a princess, nu-uh. I wanna travel aroun' the Human Realm! I wanna go on an adventure one day, somethin' big that'll change the worlds," she muttered to herself.
~~~
Time Skip- 10 human months later~
Sakura woke up early in the morning. Well, in the Human Realm it was morning. She lied on her back in her black mattress, staring at the pink ceiling.
To clarify, demons don't NEED sleep, but they CAN sleep. When they're children though, sleeping once in a while is a good thing.
Sakura's room was gothic, yet pink at the same time. The walls were decorated in a light, pastel shade that was tinted pink. Bright, cursive, magenta designs were painted all over them.
There were no windows. Sakura owned the only room that didn't have them. The main reason because no one trusted the princess to have any kind of escape route or balcony. She had wish she could see the outside more often, though.
Furniture in her room consisted of a bed, a desk, a miniature couch, an arm chair, a night table, a reading lamp, a stool, and a small table that was commonly used for eating. All of them were as black as midnight. The room was spacious enough to fit in every article of furniture, yet it was still small, cozy, and comfortable.
As soon as Sakura stepped out of bed, the door was opened. In came five maids. One quickly found a dress in Sakura's walk-in-closet and began undressing her night gown. One took out a brush and started to style her messy hair. One made the bed and dusted off the furniture. One measured her height and took notes in a clip board. One asked her what she wanted to eat. They were throwing a bunch of questions at her too.
"Sakura-sama, do you prefer this gown? I shall choose another if it is not to your liking," said one.
"How would you like your hair groomed today?" asked another.
"I'll change the bed sheets right away, Miss," informed the next.
"You've grown a fourth of an inch, Sakura-hime!" exclaimed one.
"What would you liked to be served today?" politely questioned the last.
You may think having servants, maids, a gigantic mansion, and a wealthy family would be a dream come true. For Sakura, it wasn't. No one ever let her do anything on her own.
Whenever she goes to bathe, someone just HAS to assist her. But then again, Sakura would occasionally lock the bathroom door to keep out unwanted maids. Everytime she stands up after having a seat, all of these annoying demons instantly start straightening her clothes. It's not necessary at all. And you have no privacy, no personal space. None.
Being royalty sucks.
Sakura had no choice, and answered their questions so that they could do their jobs.
"Dress number fifteen'll do." She sighed, another dress. Why can't she wear those cool human clothe things? They looked way cooler. A few months ago she had requested to get a new wardrobe full of them. The reply was, "No! You will not degrade yourself with such nonsense. You shall not fall victim to the disgusting human ways!! Where did you ever learn of such blasphemy?!?!"
Hehe, it was still pretty funny watching her lame Otousan (father) go off like that.
"A quick brush through'll work's out fine with me's," she told the second maid.
"The sheets don't need's to be cleaned, they're already perfectly
fine's," she said.
'Considering that you wash them every twelve hours', she thought. Sakura didn't answer the fourth made for reasons obvious to her. She politely told the last maid to bring some determined souls up for breakfast. But she wasn't going to be eating them.
...She had something else in mind, and it was insane, indeed.
