3rd Person POV

It was a chaotic night and everyone was in panic when the villains keeps slaughtering the people there also taking half of the city. Many heroes are busy attacking the villain while making sure the citizen fled to safety.

"Tsukuyomi and (H/N)! We need you guys to make sure all citizen are safe. No loss."

"Copy that. Let's go, Fumikage." state (Y/n) as she and Tokoyami Fumikage a.k.a Tsukuyomi fled from their post.

When they landed where a group of citizen being took care by 5 heroes, they told the heroes that they will take in-charge now. The heroes thank them before heading towards the villain. After awhile, both of them finally had send the citizens to safety but then suddenly they hear a little child cries for help.

"I'll go." said (Y/n) bravely as she take a step ahead towards the cries. Before she could move, Tokoyami hold her arms back while looking at her worriedly. (Y/n) smiles sweetly at her fiance-who-soon-will-be-her-husband.

"Don't worry! I'll contact you if I ever need your help, okay"

"...Fine but please come back safely." beg Tokoyami as he pecks (Y/n)'s forehead. (Y/n) giggle before running towards the cries after nodding at him.

Hours have pass and everyone cheer when the big TV screen shows that the heroes had finally defeated the villain. Tokoyami's eyes glue at the big TV screen but his mind and heart were elsewhere.

'(Y/n) where are you?'

You have been missing for the past hours after you had gone to save the child. Suddenly. Tokoyami was force to bring back to reality when he heard the villain laugh evilly.

"You think you have defeated me?! FOOLISH HEROES! HAHAHAHAH!"

At the exact moment a loud explosion was heard miles away from where Tokoyami standing. Without any thoughts of what to do next, Tokoyami swiftly turn towards the direction before running quickly as he can. Only the thoughts of (Y/n) being in danger is inside his head.

'Please be safe!'

By the time Tokoyami arrive, he saw that everything was destroyed except the two people laying down in the middle of the area. Quickly, Tokoyami ran towards the other person who have a lot of bruises and she was bleeding a lot. Gently, he pick the person's head and lay it down on his lap. Unknowingly, tears manage to escape out of Tokoyami's eyes when he caress (Y/n)'s face.

Everyone had crowded the area but they all stay silent, watching the scene unfold in front of them. Yes, they all knew about your relationship after you publicly announced it just a year ago.

Magically, Tokoyami felt a pulse but it was faint.

"I'm sorry, Fumi. I couldn't kept the promise." (y/n) sadly admit as she cough out blood, making the birdie almost want her to stop. almost.

"Y-you can't l-leave m-me alone, (y/n). You're the last person that I expect to die." confess Tokoyami as he cradles (y/n) while sniffing slightly.

(Y/n) smiles weakly as she knew that her time is about to end so she had thought about the last thing she wants to hear.

"Fumi, I wanna hear you sing that song." request (y/n) as she scoot closer towards Tokoyami.
