Y/n looked at her hot tea with distaste, she wasn't thirsty. It was strange escaping from somewhere when no one even knew you were held in captivity, y/n didn't imagine her escape would be like this. She thought once she escaped that she'd run to her house and tell her parents all about what happened to her. But no here she was in a local cafe drinking water, and looking back on memories.
She remembered that her and Chaoze would always go to this cafe and study, but then they ended up abandoning their work to go to the arcade across the street. She really missed her old companion, but at this point he had been gone for months. Y/n felt guilty, she had never made it to his funeral. Because she was captured to early to attend, "y/n your c-chaoze's girlfriend right?"
In pure curiosity y/n looked up there he was Chaoze's older brother. He looked skinner, his hair was now disheveled and his clothes were rusty black. His face looked paler than usual with dark circles under his eyelids, his face was now held with grief and pain and no longer with gruffness. "No I'm not, but I was his close friend though" y/n blushed sincerely, Taehyun sat across from her nervously rubbing his hands on his pant legs.
"I didn't see you at the funeral, I assumed you had moved." Y/n eyes flooded with guiltiness, she had never made it to Chaoze funeral because of her captors. She could never forgive the guys for that, "y-yeah I'm so sorry my parents-" Taehyun held his hand up softly, "it's okay I get it. Your parents died and it was a really hard time for you to attend the funeral"
Y/n paused, she looked at Taehyun with a puzzled look. "w-wait my parents are dead?" Taehyun looked at y/n confused and nodded softly, "yeah they died right after I assumed you left the country. They got hit in a car accident you didn't know?" Tears appeared in your eyes as you stood up, "I'm sorry Taehyun-ssi but I have to go" before Taehyun got a chance to answer you had already ran to the doors with tears streaming down your face.
Why had no one contacted you? Of course you had chance of getting contacted because you were kidnapped. But the mere thought of not even knowing if your parents were dead frightened you, how could three people die only five days apart? You shuddered in sadness and walked back to your house making sure no one was following.
The day was still bright and the trees flowers had bloomed already, you looked at the beautiful trees grinning slightly at it's beautiful leaves. You haven't payed attention to your surroundings lately which made you feel guilty towards the trees, you haven't even noticed their beauty. Usually when spring starts you always took the time to admire nature in one of it's most beautiful seasons.
But ever since you've been held captive, nature was the last thing on your mind. With an sincere look you stepped onto your house porch, and looked at the house. It was now dull but filled with light, the light blue paint had faded into a light gray and the blooming roses seemed to be dying. The house was never like you would've imagined.
