THIRD PERSON P.O.V
Our story begins with an investigator named Mehile Oca in the 5th ward investigating a ghoul case him and his squad have been trying to stop this ghoul as he/she has been looking for someone they haven’t figured it out yet but they’re currently following a lead to the whereabouts of this ghoul
MEHILE P.O.V
I walk in through the potential base of the ghoul we’re following we haven’t named this ghoul as we believe it may be an already known ghoul as we walk in we see bodies and Kate gulps as Jason says with a smile
Jason: what don’t have the stomach for this?
Kate: shut it Jason
Kate snaps at him and I just chuckle at them as Jade calls out to me
Jade: stop
She calls out to me as quickly as possible and I stop
Jade: tripwire at your feet
She says and I look down to see it and I back away as Jade disarms it and we move on as we get to the main room we see photos pinned to the wall and as me and my wife Kate walk closer we see who’s in the photo our son
Kate: Jack…
Jade: Boss!
Jade yells in concern and my head snaps to her
Mehile: what!?
Jade: her computer says she was gonna meet Jack tonight…she left ten minutes ago
Mehile: who is she?
Jade: Eto
Mehile: well she won’t get him I had him moved to the 6th ward…
Kate: babe!
Kate yells and I snap to her
Kate: she knows we moved him…
She says with tears in her eyes panic runs through me and I pull out my phone as fast as I can and call Jack
JACK P.O.V
I walk through the night in the 6th ward angry with my father over an argument we had before we left as I pass an ally I get a call from my father still angry I ignore the call and a moment later my mother calls and I answer
Jack: look mom i…
Kate: Jack! Where are you!?
Jack: at Naka street why what’s wrong?
Kate: the ghoul we’re investigating is after you get home now!
As she says that I hear silent footsteps
Kate: Jack!?
Jack: she’s a few feet behind me
I whisper into the phone and I hear my mothers gasp
Kate: run! Before she kills you!
Jack: mom you know as well as I do a human can’t outrun a ghoul my best move is to fight
Kate: Jack Oca you better start running right now!
She yells in my ear as I see the ghouls shadow behind me peaking outside the ally
Jack: what’s her name?
Kate: Eto but that doesn’t matter!
I hear her sobbing and I myself tear up
Jack: mom…
I say with a croaky voice
Kate: Jack please…
Jack: tell dad…I’m sorry
Kate: Jack please don’t
Jack: I love you two best parents I could’ve asked for…good bye
Kate: Jack nooo!!!
She screams as I hang up and let my arm drop limp dropping the phone as I flick the casing over the button to my guitar case that has my Qinque sword I then tilt my head to the left
Jack: so you going to kill me?
I say plainly and she steps out
Eto: no not at all I honestly don’t intend to harm you
She says with a weird voice that clearly had happiness in it but why?
Jack: you sound happy
Eto: I am indeed
Jack: why?
Eto: because I’m finally seeing you in person
Jack: and what’s the chance I go home tonight?
Eto: your not going home tonight I’m taking you with me
Jack: not happening
I say sternly
Eto: Jack your body isn’t in good shape I would hate to have to hurt you
She says sounding sad
Jack: I’m not going with you willingly Eto
I say moving the thumb over my cases release button and she sighs
Eto: fine I’ll take you by force
She says irritated and I hear the noise of a kaukugan being released
Eto: last chance Jack
She says and I push the button on my case and it opens and I grab the handle of the sword as the case falls over
Jack: pass
I say and she growls as she lunges at me and I spin around switching my grip on my sword holding it backwards as I block holding the other end of the blade with my off hand flat and I nearly lose my balance as she jumps off me and I again change my grip holding it with both hands she dashes at me as I run at her and as she passes me I run my blade through her left side and it tears the bandages up drawing blood I spin around and go to attack but she back kicks me in the stomach sending me back a few feet square on my ass and my blade clatters to the ground as I groan in pain and I hear her footsteps approaching and I try to get up but my stomach just fills
me with pain making lay back down as I panic thinking of what I can do and I see Eto standing over me
Jack: k-kill me
She squats down
Eto: not a chance
She says and I sigh knowing what’s next
Eto: I win
She says childishly as she pulls out a needle and my eyes go wide and I use what little strength I have to try and move but it just makes me groan in pain
Eto: hmm? What you don’t like needles?
She asks pinning me and I struggle to break free and she grabs my throat and I start suffocating and she loosens her grip
Eto: hey it’s ok I’ll make this as painless as possible just stop fighting me
She says as I see the red of her kaukugan fading away meaning her eye is turning normal knowing I have no choice I comply and stop struggling as she gently sticks the needle in my neck and she pushes on it and my vision goes blurry as my eyes start to close and I struggle to keep them open
Eto: shh sleep
She whispers to me as I lose consciousness knowing I just got captured by a ghoul
