There once was a princess named Rosalina, who's secret lover had died from an incurable disease now known as the black plague. There would be many who thought that this secret lover was a peasant male or a prince of a rivaling kingdom, but no it was a noble woman. This woman was named Angelica, she was from a family whose sons were known to be knights for Rosalina's father, king Kenneth. Though to Rosalina she was the perfect girl and her beauty couldn't be rivaled by any woman in the kingdom. Their love was forbidden and they would be sent to their execution if someone found out. Both of them were planning to run away together so they kept gifts from there families and suitors to sell so they could live a life together. So when Angelica passed she couldn't show her sadness in public or in front of her family in fear of being killed. Though Rosalina wanted to be with her beautiful Angelica again she knew Angelica wouldn't want her to die. Rosalina was never truly happy in her family's castle but her family did help her find the one person that brought her true happiness. Through the world has stolen her angel. Rosalina as heartbroken as she was she started going down a spiral into darkness till she met a witch who told her if she studied under her she could reanimate her dead lover. Rosalina then started to study under the witch and learned as much as she could till her 18th birthday where her parents arranged a marriage between her and a prince from a nearby kingdom. Filled with rage and still suffering the sadness of Angelica's death she caused her parents to become older at a rapid pace till they turned into nothing more than dust. On that day she lost her parents but gained her title as queen of Camelot. Though she still only loved Angelica she also loved her kingdom too so she ended up marrying the prince her parents had picked for her. Rosalina held no love for this prince and made it her goal to reanimate her dead lover. As she grow older her patience lessened till she snapped and put a curse on the land. Everyone in the kingdom would fall asleep or turn into everyday objects till one of two things happened. 1. Her dead lover was reanimated or 2. Her lovers reincarnation came to the kingdom and woke the queen from her slumber. Many centuries have past and there was little hope till a young woman and a child came across the kingdom. The way to find this recreation was by a mark on their left hand, it was a beautiful scarlet color which shined in the light and was shaped like a dragon was climbing up their skin, the symbol for royalty in the old kingdom and the a clear marking to those who know this story that this woman was destined at birth to be Rosalina's one and only.
