Chapter 6

After class finished the debate to prove Sudo's innocence happened. I was obviously allowed to come. I sat next to Sudo. The debate was being judged by none other than Suzune's brother. Who I personally don't like. Suzune was acting nervous infront of her brother and the opposition were gaining the upper hand. They were making accusations against Sudo and Suzune was saying nothing. Sudo stood up and went to shout.

Sora~Sudo sit down.

I said this quietly. He only just heard me. Sudo looked down at me and I didn't look back. He new from instinct that he should sit down and shut up. Class C were surprised but continued before I spoke up.

Sora~Ryūen really chose some noisy studants to do his dirty work.

I said this out loud. Everyone stopped talking and looked towards me. They started murmering. I was sat with my back straight, arms crossed and head up. I let out a sigh and looked towards Class C.

Sora~If you really want to be like animals go to a zoo. This is a school and I would appreciate if I was given a chance to think.

After that comment everyone shut up. All attention was on me. I looked towards Suzune and saw that she couldn't speak right now.I stood up and looked towards the Class C studants.

Sora~Could you tell me the story again?

I asked politely to the studant sat closest to the teacher. Another studant went to speak but I put my hand up to him. I nodded my head to the studant I had asked for him to speak.

Studant 2~He doesn't speak much.

Sora~He's still capable of speaking. I'm just asking you to try and keep your mouth shut.

Studant 1~Well Sudo asked us to come and meet him next to the science department. And when we went he just beat us up.

Sudo went to stand up and object but he felt my hand push him down back into his seat.

Sora~And where were you before hand?

Studant 1~Well we were at basketball practice.

Sora~But only 2 of you are in the basketball club. Am I right? Why was the 3rd studant with you?

Studant 1~Well we brought him for protection. Everyone knows Sudo is unpridictable. Our friend has a little bit of a history so we asked him to come with us.

Sora~But I remember telling Sudo the day before the incident to stay away from Class C because they are violent and after school or extra-cirricular activites that he sholud go straight to his room.

Horikita (Manabu)~What do you mean by Class C are violent? And why did you give these rules to Sudo specifically?

Sora~Well Horikita didn't you know? These 3 and Ryūen beat up Sudo the day before.

Everyone looked shocked by this knowledge. Even my teacher. I thought she knew everything. Manabu was definately suprised by this. Even my brother eventhough he didn't show it much.

Suzune~Is this why you asked if Class C were involved?

Sora~Yeah and you can ask anyone who was at the tennis club 2 days ago.
There was a knock at the door. Manabu sent his assisstant naturally, but I insited I would do it.

I opened the door. It was Sakura. I covered the open part of the door and began whispering to her.

Sora~Are you ready to tell everyone?

Sakura~Yes. I'm sorry it took so long for me to decide.

I told her it was alright and guided her into the room and stood her in the middle. I moved my chair to where she was and nodded for her to sit.

Sora~This is Sakura from our class and she would like to tell us something.

Sakura~I was there when the Class C boys attaked Sudo.

Horikita(Manabu)~Were you know? Why didn't you come forward sooner?  And what proof do you have?

Sakura~Umm.....well......

I could see that Sakura was getting nervous. I felt sorry for her. Horikita is suh a horrible person. I decided to intervine.

Sora~Can you stop scaring her? It's very rude. Call yourself a gentleman intimidating a woman like this.
You can continue now Sakura.

I smiled at her and she nodded. She took a sharp breath in and got her camera out.

Sakura~I have photo evidence.
