"Y/n? What's going on? Are you okay?" Colby asked with worry and his eye brows furrowed. He walked over beside you and sat down. He put his arm around your shoulder and you leaned on to his. It felt good, him holding you.
"Y-you didn't tell me...why? Why didn't you tell me you were leaving." You say angrily and voice cracking.
"I'm sorry." He says apologetically. "I just wanted to enjoy our friendship normally before I had to leave."
You felt a tear drop on top of your head knowing that Colby is crying, and you knew that he was only crying because he had hurt you.
You two had stayed there holding each other for another hour and a half until you both decided to part ways and go to sleep.

The next day you get up and get ready for school. When you are done getting ready you check you phone and see that Colby had text you last night.
Colby: 'hey y/n, Sam will be taking you to school tomorrow.'
You found yourself beginning to frown, but you headed down stairs anyways to grab some toast from the toaster and walk out to wait on Sam to get to your house. Five to six minutes later, Sam is pulling up in your dive way in his black Toyota Corolla. You already know that your day is going to be extremely slow and boring. You walk over to Sam's car and get in and turn up the radio. So that he wouldn't be able to ask you what's wrong.

The whole day you were waiting for math class because that's the only class you have with Colby, and you and him always sat with each other.
When you walked in and got settled down at your desk that you and Colby share. But when Colby walked in, he didn't look in your direction, he went a sat with someone else. You felt sadness come over you like a wave. You were also confused why Colby didn't sit with you and why he didn't even look at you when he walked by. He just left you in the back corner alone.
Just as your slow and sucky day ended you road home with Sam because judging by the way Colby was acting, he probably wouldn't even talk to you in the car or even say goodbye to you when he dropped you off at your house. So you turned up the music in Sam's car again so he won't talk to you or ask what's wrong because you don't feel like crying in front of Sam too.

It felt like forever but you got to your house and said bye to Sam and thanked him for giving you a ride home.
You dropped your bag on the side of the house and walked sulkily to the treehouse like yesterday but only today Colby was in the treehouse with his knees pulled onto his chest and his head down. You jogged to the treehouse and climbed up the ladder and sat next to Colby.
"Colby? Colby what's wrong?" You say feeling a tear run down your cheek. You wipe it away before Colby could see it.
He lifts his head up revealing his puffy and wet face. He has been crying. "N-nothing, I am fine y/n." He says as his voice cracking.
"No tell me what's wrong, you know I hate when people tell me that they're fine when they're not. Now please tell me what is wrong or I will jump to conclusions like I always do." You say trying to lighten him up.
"I just needed to get it out of my system, because I am leaving the girl I love." He said starring into your eyes and you stare back.
Then you look down, so Colby couldn't see you let another tear fall. He lifts your chin up so he could see your face. He takes his thumb and wipes away the tear and continues to stare into your eyes. You didn't mind looking into his ocean eyes, because they were absolutely breath taking and you couldn't look away from them anyways.
Then the next thing you know you feel Colby's lips on yours. Butterflies explode in your stomach, but you kiss him back anyways.
About twenty seconds of your make out session, Colby pulls away and puts his forehead against yours, with his hands still cupping your face.
He lets out a shaky breath. "I am sorry that I hurt you. I never wanted to hurt you." He says apologetically.
"It's fine, I just wanted you to be open with me and be honest, no matter how hard it is." You say trying to reassure him.
"Y/n?"
"Yeah Colby?"
"I...I love you."
"I love you too."
"No, like I love you, love you. Like I am in love with you."
"I know."
You two sat there for a couple minutes until you shifted your back against the wall. Colby followed you and did the same. You both sat there and watched the evening sky turn into night and looked at the stars.
You two sat there holding each other in your arms. But you also lost track of time, but you didn't care. All you cared about was sitting there with Colby and spending time with him.
"Colby?" You say looking up at him.
"Hmm?" He hums looking back at you.
"When are you leaving?"
"Friday." He look forward. You could hear the sadness in his tone.
"Well...we are not going to school Friday. We are going to do something fun. Okay?"
Colby sat up, and gave you a happy look. "Really?! Oh my God?! Your not playing with me are you?"
"No" you laughed. "But do you still have that trampoline in the back yard right?" You said with a smerk.
"Yeah. Why?" Colby asked with a smile growing on his face. You gave him a look that screamed 'duh'. So you jumped out of the treehouse and ran through his back yard. But Colby stayed up in the treehouse looking at you confused. "What are you doing?" He laughed.
"I wanna go jump! Now come on Colby! Last one there is a rotten egg!" You shout knowing that Colby's parents were home.
"Shhhh! My parents and siblings are asleep in that house right there!" He shouted in a low tone, and stating the obvious.
"Well okay Captain Obvious." You say doing a curtsy. "What will we do to spend time together before you leave in three days?"
"Okay just be quiet okay, like no screaming or yelling. They might come out and think I am murdering you out here."
