Bella

"The Halloween dance is tomorrow... are you guys going?" Danny asked us during break.
"Yeah! Hot girls in short outfits? Count me in!" Tucker exclaimed as I rolled my eyes.
"I'm going, I love Halloween." Sam said as the looked at me twirling my dark brown hair around my pointer finger. "Bella? Are you there?" Sam asked me a I jumped slightly.
"Me? Oh, sorry... uh, I don't know if I'll be able to make it." I frowned as I let go of my curl.
"Are you ok Bell?" Danny asked me as he flew me home in his ghost form.
"Yeah, I'm fine." I said.
"No, you're not. I can see that much. Tell me what's wrong." Danny worried as I pointed at the sold sign being hammered into my lawn.
"You just told me this morning that we were moving!" I said to my mother as she growled not noticing Danny as he went invisible.
"Stop being such a child Aribella! We're moving and there's nothing you can do!" She screeched at me as tears pricked at my eyes.
"I don't want to move. I like it here. Amity is my home." I whispered as she whipped around with the hammer and I fell backwards trying not to get hit as she flailed it around. She flung the hammer at me as I shield my head with my arms totally forgetting that my wonderful boyfriend was still here. My mother screamed when the hammer stopped midair.
Danny became visible once again and dropped the hammer in front of her and said boo before she ran into the house screaming. He turned to me and picked me up not saying a word as he landed us on the roof of the school.
"Danny? Please say something..." I asked  after a little while of deafening silence.
"I don't really know what to say. I just witnessed my girlfriend's mother try to kill her with a damn hammer! What do you want me to say?" He yelled as I shrunk down into the wall.
"I'm sorry." I whispered as my voice cracked.
"No, I'm sorry. I just can't watch someone do anything like that to my girlfriend. I never want you to go back to... How long has this been going on?" He cut himself off as he turned to look at me.
"A really long time. Since my dad died when I was 6." I said as I pulled my hair up and turned around to show him the worse part of this. When I didn't hear anything I pulled my hair down over my back again and turned around to face a red faced boyfriend.
"She did that to you?" He asked deadly calm as I slowly nodded. He almost bolt away back to my house before I latched onto his arm and pulled him back.
"I'm ok, Danny. I just can't go home tonight. It doesn't really hurt anymore. And if you kill her, it won't help either of us. My stepfather would blame me, and I'd most definitely go to jail." I whispered as I held onto his arm and he looked back at me with defeat in his eyes.
"We can't go to Sam, Tucker, or my house, she'd go straight there. I'll find us a place to sleep tonight." He said as he pulled out his phone.
"Mom, I won't be able to come home tonight, I have to keep Bella safe. If her mom asks where she is tell her you don't know. She's trying to hurt her, and I won't let her touch my Bella." Danny said to his mom. "Ok, tell Jazz that I'll meet her at the school." He said goodbye and put his phone away and picked me up bridal style and took off to the school.

"Here, I brought dinner, blankets, pillows, drinks, and a DVD player just in case you two get bored. Also mom is going to try to get custody over you so you never have to see her ever again." Jazz said to me as she handed Danny the bags. "We saw and recorded the whole thing. She is never going to touch you again ok?" Jazz said as I hugged her. "Be safe you two." She said as Danny lifted me into the air and flew to the tree house my dad made me when I was about 5.
"Don't judge, I wanted to be Tinker Bell." I said as we flew inside.
