With the arrival of their new baby, Yoongi and Seokjin took turns working from home. Yoongi takes Hoseok with him to his personal studio at home, putting on a pair of tiny, custom-made, sound-proof headphones on his baby. When it's Seokjin's turn, he makes large batches of his baked goods for his café and waits for an employee to come and collect them, while Hobi slept soundly in their hall. It's not like they can't afford a nanny; it's more like they don't trust anyone with their children.

"Hey, are you ready for work?" Yoongi asked Seokjin, who was in his baker uniform, and changing Hoseok into new clothes.

"Yep. I'll be leaving in a minute. Here, all clean" Seokjin passed a freshly bathed Hoseok, to Yoongi.

"Hi dumpling. Did you have a nice baaaaath? Did papa wash your haaaair? Was it fuuuunn?" Yoongi was happily baby-talking to his son, who was least bothered about his appa. The little one was looking on, fascinated at the pair of round glasses resting on the bride of Yoongi's nose.

Seokjin looked on fondly at his husband making pouty faces at their son. "Well Yoongi, I'm off. Take care, okay? I'll be back in the evening." Seokjin leaned down to kiss his son's tubby cheek, squishing his little face. He pulled away from Hoseok to kiss Yoongi on the lips, to which he kissed back.

Seokjin walked to the door and turned back at the two. Hoseok looked confusedly at Seokjin and when his papa opened the door, his little face scrunched up, ready for a storm. Yoongi bounced Hobi a bit to avoid the waterworks but they were inevitable. Wails were heard throughout the large house, pudgy hands reaching out to the man at the door.

A month of living with his new family and Hoseok had gotten quite attached to his parents. The first few days of leaving to work were the hardest, where the parents and Hobi were in emotional distress. After a week or so, Yoongi and Seokjin had strengthened their resolve and stopped the crying; on their part at least. Hobi remained a teary mess when either one of his parents had to leave for work.

Seokjin quickly exited the house, leaving Yoongi to deal with the crying baby. Now that Hoseok was over a month old, he could move his head around better and kept looking longingly at the front door, over his appa's shoulder.

(In Yoongi's personal studio, a few minutes later)

Yoongi leaned back in his chair with his son laying quietly on his chest. The baby had finally calmed down after listening to some of Yoongi's softest tunes. Yoongi was softly patting his son's tiny diapered bottom, humming softly to the music playing lowly on his speakers.

Hoseok looked up at his father, pacifier in his mouth, soft sucking sounds emitting, and gave a crinkled eye smile.

Yoongi huffed, amusedly, "I swear you're something else. One minute you're crying and the next you're smiling happily like nothing happened."

The baby tilted his little head at his father, eyeing the circular glasses sitting atop his nose. His hand reached up to yank it off and try to chew on it, but unfortunately, for Hobi, his father pulled his head back, away from his evil fingers.

"Oh no no, young man. You are not getting these. Your Joon-hyung broke my older ones and you're not getting my new ones."

Hoseok was having none of it. How preposterous. He huffed, face contorting in rage, feet digging into his dad's hard stomach, squirming in his arms. He gave his father his meanest look, trying to look as imposing as a month old baby can look.

'Oh God. Is he rebelling right now? Is this what Googie is teaching him? Where's my phone- I need to record this' Yoongi thought, amusedly. From his angle, his son looked like a huffing fluffy kitten, with his soft cream onesie, trying his hardest to drive his tiny rainbow crochet-booted foot into his dad's stomach.

"What do you think you're doing there, little man? You just turned a month old and already turning against your parents? You're giving Kook-hyung a run for his money." Yoongi laughed. Hoseok seeing his appa laugh, started laughing himself, the pacifier falling out of his mouth.

Yoongi looked down at his son, in amusement, "You really are something else, dumpling."

(In the evening)

Seokjin opened the door to his house, sighing in relief to see everything in its right place and not a complete disaster. He walked forward, catching his husband whipping up a quick cup of coffee.

"Oh hyung. You're home" Yoongi smiled, holding out his arm for Seokjin to take.

Seokjin took his hand, "Hey, love. Where are the kids?" He asked, looking around for the boys.

"They're up in Kook's room, playing with Hope. Ever since Hoseok came, the boys have been getting along much better and not at each other's throats." Yoongi chuckled.

"Ah that's good. Though I wouldn't trust Hobi with them for a long time" Seokjin replied, with slight worry in his voice.

"It's alright hyung. We were in the hall till a few minutes ago. I wanted to put Hobi to bed and the boys insisted I put him in one of their rooms. I put him to sleep but from those squeals, I'm guessing that's no longer the case" Yoongi sighed.

CRASH-

Yoongi's and Seokjin's heads snapped up in alarm when-

"APPA! Namjoon broke Kookie-hyung's pencil cup!!" Jimin's screech was heard in high volume.

"I SWEAR I DIDN'T MEAN TO!!" Namjoon's voice came right after.

"WAHHHHH" Hoseok's wails following, not helping the situation.

Yoongi collapsed into a kitchen chair in irritated exhaustion, "End me."
