"DONGHYUCK!" Donghyuck heard his mother call for him from downstairs and he dragged himself down to them so that he wouldn't get in trouble. "Yes?" Donghyuck was bored. It was summer vacation and the next year he would attend his senior year of high school. The thing is that he didn't have anything to do over the summer.
"Do you think you would want a job?" his mom asked as she looked at her phone again, smiling as she read it over again. Donghyuck didn't care much. He didn't want to work but he had nothing to do and he would probably get more money to buy more food or games.
"Yeah sure I guess if I get paid. What is it for?" He leaned on the kitchen island and took an apple and took a bite as he waited for his mother to explain what job got her so excited for him to do.
"Would you like to be the Lee's new babysitter?" she said and Donghyuck started coughing on the apple surprised on what she said. She would sometimes joke that Donghyuck is a baby himself and now she's proposing that he take care of one.
"Wait- don't the Lee's have a 19 year old?" Donghyuck asked pretty confused on how a 19 year old would need a babysitter.
"They had a new child about 2 or 3 years ago and he's the one who needs the babysitting." Donghyuck's mom said and Donghyuck's face lit up. She knew everything about Donghyuck even if he didn't share. And one of the things she knew about him is that he loved children and loved taking care of them.
"How do I apply?" Those words were the only thing needed to be said for Donghyuck's mom to call someone's to talk.
"Hello Mrs. Lee my son would like to apply to be your new babysitter."
