August 2nd, which was a Friday, came closer within seconds.
On Monday, after they got the invitation, Donghyuck and Yeji practiced dancing Waltzer which was necessary looking at Yeji's dancing skills. Their mother organized the tailor for Tuesday while they were practicing.
On Tuesday, the tailor came to take the measurements for Yeji's dress and Donghyuck's suit. After that, they discussed about what their outfits should look like - the colors and material, the cut and style. It took them almost the whole day since Yeji wanted to be the best dressed girl at the ball.
On Wednesday, they were practicing the different dances again and started planning how Yeji will get the Prince's attention without disgracing herself in front of everyone. Because of the last factor many ideas made by Donghyuck needed to be cancelled.
On Thursday, the tailor came with their outfits. Donghyuck and Yeji immediately tried them on and showed them to their mother. She smiled proudly at her children while the tailor made the final touches to make their outfits fitting. He himself was very proud of his masterpieces he made for them, so he announced the pay he want. While Donghyuck and Yeji changed their clothes again, their mother paid the tailor with the last money they had and the tailor went home.
On Friday, they both dressed themselves up and did each other's make up. While they were styling, Yeji started daydreaming again. "What do you think the Prince will do when he sees me, Hyuckie? Will he instantly fall in love with me," she asked him with glittery eyes. "Nah, he'll probably puke," Donghyuck destroyed her bubble while he was doing her hair. Her face got grumpy and Donghyuck stuck his tongue out. "I'm just joking. He'll probably fall in love with you within seconds and you'll dance the whole night with him, just like Cinderella."
They finished styling and went outside were a carriage was waiting for them. Their mother was already in the carriage but Donghyuck noticed that her gaze was a sad and exhausted one. As soon as they entered the carriage, she started smiling again which made Donghyuck more suspicious. He wanted to ask her why she was sad looking some seconds ago as Yeji started ranting about meeting the Prince, again.

Just imagine Yeji in this. I wasn't able to find her in a dress and because I don't have any editing app on my phone (and I don't have wifi to download one right now) I couldn't photoshop her into this dress. (it took me over 1 hour to find and download those pics cuz my data is almost gone)
