I showed up to school earlier than usual because my mom had dragged me out of bed and offered to drive to me to school. Not that I was complaining. Even though the walk to school was about ten minutes, I really didn't feel like walking in fucking cold.
When I got to school, I thanked my mom for driving me and walked towards the huge, black gates. A tall, white brick wall covered the whole school's area, in order to keep unwanted visitors from coming inside. The school itself was a fairly large, white building. The windows were tinted dark to prevent people from looking inside at a distance, and the doors were made with heavy metal. Gosh, my school really loved to go overboard when it came to privacy. In the front of the school, was a sign that read,
"Welcome to Yohan Highschool!"
I scoffed at the sign and walked through the black gates.
When I arrived to class, no one was present. The old chalkboard was freshly cleaned. The floor that usually was covered in all sorts of papers and trash was swept, and the desks were all put into five straight rows. I snorted at the thought of the word straight.
When I was younger, I never took interest in boys which made me notice how different I was compared to the other girls in my class. While they all bonded about the cute stinky boys, I drooled over hot female superheroes.
After my random thoughts and just standing in front of the door like the idiot I was, I finally decided to walk over to my desk that was in the farthest corner, sit down, and put my earbuds in.
As my classmates started filling in the classroom, my homeroom teacher had finally entered the room. I took out one of my earbuds to listen to what the crackhead of a man had to say.
"Good morning you overgrown children!" he excitedly said.
"Good morning Mr. Tanaka!" a male student shouted.
I rolled my eyes at the male student and slouched. It was definitely waaaay too early for shouting.
Mr. Tanaka chuckled at the male student's energy and put his stuff down onto his desk."Well students, I have a surprise for you!" he announced.
I immediately sat straight up. This had peaked my interest, as, it wasn't everyday that you got a surprise.
I took out both my earbuds to listen better.
Mr. Takanara looked outside the classroom and motioned for someone to come in.A tall, slim girl with long black hair and long, thick eyelashes that covered her piercing green eyes had entered the room. The once noisy classroom was now in complete silence and everyone's eyes were on this mystery girl.
She spoke in a calm, collected voice,
"Good morning everyone. My name is Vera LeRoy. I'm from France and will be studying here for the rest of the year. I hope we all become friends." she smiled softly when she finished her little introduction. The class practically went wild over the beautiful girl that stood in front of the classroom while I admired her voice. It was the most pleasant voice I've ever heard. The way she articulated her words to manipulate her voice to cover up her French accent was practically music to my ears. Thinking about it now, my ears were red.
"Alright now class, settle down. Are there any questions for Ms. LeRoy here?"
I snapped out of my daze and focused my attention on my curious classmates. What were they gonna ask her? Probably something stupid.
The male student from before asked,
"Are you single?"I practically face palmed. But at the same time, I was curious as well.
She nervously chuckled and rubbed the back of her neck,
"Yes unfortunately."I was relieved to hear that.
After a few more personal questions from my fellow classmates, she was finally able to sit down. The desk behind me was empty and so she took it. While walking past me, a wave of a flowery yet sweet scent intrigued my nose and I practically bursted into flames.
The effect this girl had over my gay ass was overpowering.
