Chapter 13: Avoiding the worst, Saving Misaka Mikoto

Ikaruga's POV

After meeting with Yomi and Crimson Squad again after 3 years, they bring us to their new ninja room that is located in a secret location inside the Misawa Cram School, a new room with all stuff they have when they were still students of Hebijo Academy and a lab just next to the ninja room.

Yomi: so what do you think ?

Ikaruga: it's incredible kind of remind me of good old days at Hanzõ Academy.

Yomi: yeah, for me too it remind me of my days as Hebijo student under Rin-sensei, the room is the same and Haruka has her lab right next to this room.

Hibari: i hope she will not cause any trouble with her medicines.

Yomi: don't worry, i don't think she will dangerous medicines anymore, 3 years ago she dedicate herself to help peoples in need and create very good medicine to resolve their daily problem like sickness and other.

Hibari: really ! that's so great.

Yagyu: is she still working as scientist alongside Ryobi and Ryona ?

Mirai: of course Yagyu, beside those two still reside at the old Hebijo Academy's castle.

Yagyu: that's good to know.

Haruka: i'm pretty suure you here because of Katsumi right ?

Ikaruga: yes, Haruka-san we heard that she is actually alive and stuck in the realm of darkness for years ever since the invasion of Osaka.

Haruka: i see, that's a interesting subject, come with me, i want to show you something regarding this matter.

Haruka guide us to her lab an show something that will be a very useful information to us regarding the realms that surround our world, with the hope of finding a way to get Katsumi out of this mess.

Haruka: can you this in the monitor ?

Katsuragi: yes, we see it, it's space.

Haruka: yes it's space, but it's also in that space that are located the different realms that made our world, the realm of light which is where everyone including us reside, the realm between, which is located between the realm of light and darkness and lastly the realm of darkness where Katsumi is stuck for several years.

Ikaruga: and we know that time flow normally in these two realms, but what about the realm of darkness ?

Haruka: that's what things begin to be interested, as you see, the realm of darkness is located in a space out of time and the only way to access that place is only possible via the corridors of darkness.

Hibari: corridor of darkness ? are they like some kind of portals or pathways ?

Haruka: exactly Hibari-chan, those with a strong hearts can use those portals without having their hearts corrupted by the darkness, giving this explanation i'm guess there's someone here in our world who has the power summon those portals.

Katsuragi: do you think Miyabi have that power too ?

Haruka: it's hard to said, the darkness take over her heart 3 years ago, upon seeing Fuyu she managed to dissipate them and use the power of darkness as her own as much as her light.

Yomi: Miyabi has a very strong heart which allow her to resist the influence of the darkness on her, still we haven't seen her using the dark corridors.

Yagyu: i see, but do you think that GRIM REAPER and the yomas have that ability too ?

Haruka: since the yomas are from the realm of darkness it's highly possible that they have access to this ability, as for those from GRIM REAPER the fact that they have The Reaper's powers made them able to use the corridors of darkness too.
