Chapter 16 : Celebrations

Ava's P.O.V

"Aaaaaavvaaaaaaa I'm here!!!" Neha shrieks. "Mmmmhhh....just five more minutes" I groan.

Before my eyelids have a chance to even flicker themselves open "Ava are you alright?" I open my eyes to peer into very concerned Hazel pools with flecks of gold swirling around.

Perfectly shaped brows furrowed in concern and that perfectly chiseled face and jaw all clenched. I have to blink to snap myself out of my little checking out the enemy indulgence.

He has raised his eyebrows and smirking adds "Are you planning to sketch me from memory?"

I can feel the blush creeping up my face as I look away. I'm trying to regain my cool as I realise just how close he is...uhh was...it's so cold without him... Get a grip Ava... Ohhhh this man. Just then I catch an open mouthed Neha checking out Bradley.

He looks at her with an amused smirk. "Neha I take it?" She's just staring at him. "Ava's best friend Neha I'm guessing. I'm Bradley Constine her fiance." OMG snap out of it Neha please please please he doesn't need a bigger head.

As if my telepathy worked she snaps out of it albeit still flustered. She is shaking his hand as Toni, Conrad and Stewart all rush in with guns aimed. Guns they've got their guns out OMG are these idiots crazy brandishing their weapons around. With just one look from Bradley they all lower their weapons. Keeping them lowered as there is no where to place them.

I'm trying not to giggle as Neha recovers and comments "Sooo is it really hot here I mean everyone except you seems to sleep shirtless Ava."

The poor guys nod at Neha and since I'm fine all follow Bradley out the door closing it behind them.

As soon as they're out the door Neha launches herself at me and we fall into a giggle fest before catching up. I update her on the latest and she just looks at me incredulously.

"You have to marry him Ava...he is so hot!!! I mean just looking at him can turn a girl on and I'm a doctor! I mean so are you of course but babe he's such a hottie imagine your gorgeous children! Awwww."

Hold your horses my gorgeous best friend... I haven't even agreed!!! He's got the ego the size of a continent! He hasn't even earned a date forget marriage and you're here imagining our babies!"

The door is thrown open and in runs Emile. "Whose babies?" her eyes the size of saucers "Ava you didn't.. Already?"

"Didn't, what!!!?OMG are you out of your mind Emile... What's wrong with you both?" They both give each other a look. "Really...I'm still in the room!"

"Anyyyyyway...isn't it time to head out its our International Women's Day celebrations at the hospital. Come on girls we've got a start studded cast performing this time around thanks to Ava's contacts."

Third person P. O. V

International Women's Day has always been a big day out concert, it all started after Ava's abduction and her battle with depression and anxiety afterwards. Her powerful father decided this would help her and build a community of girls who could help each other.

The funds raised go to fund projects which aid women battling mental illness, anorexia, bulimia and post natal depression. With her contacts Ava has managed to get big name celebrities to perform at the park behind the hospital. There are free passes for staff and patrons of the hospital but otherwise it's a ticketed event.

This year's event is supposed to be jam packed with big names lending their support to this cause. It's a star studded cast of Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry and Justice Crew.
