Two days after, I performed the song ‘Somebody out there’ by A Rocket to the Moon. After I performed, I heard a familiar strumming. The song is I’ll always love you by Nina. I saw him wearing a smile with a rose on the pocket of his Polo shirt. He began to serenade me. I am so happy. Is this love? If I experienced this in the first place, I shouldn’t have hate love! It’s a great feeling.

“Lorraine. I know you don’t believe in love. But, I can see it in your eyes you’re in love. So, will you be my girl?” he said when he came near me.

“Yes! Yes!” I said with my eyes watering with tears. “You guys heard that? She’s now my girlfriend!” he said. “I love you Lorraine.”

“I love you too, Zeke.” I said.

It’s been six months, we’re still together and we definitely love each other. It went well with our six months relationship. We’re happy with each other’s love. We’re singing in bistro every afternoon, duet. It was our six month anniversary so, I called him. It was my third call when he answered it.

“Hey,” I said. “Yeah?” he replied with a cold voice. “Are you alright? Can we meet?”

“Oh, I’m sorry. I have something to do. Call you later.” “But---” I was about to say something but he said Goodbye. I felt my heart broke. Why is he acting that way? He didn’t even greet me. I felt something warm in my cheeks, tears. “Oh, you’re over thinking things Lorraine! He’s just busy.” I said to myself.

I waited for him at the Bistro until 9 o clock pm. He’s coming, I know. I fell asleep. When I woke up, it’s 11:30 pm! I fixed myself and went outside when I saw a guy, again, with the same position. He looked at me with cold and blank eyes. “I’m sorry.” He said. I smiled.

“It’s alright.” I said, and then he hugged me tight.

After five months, we seldom see each other. I felt our love is falling apart. But, I know I’m just thinking too much. I was done performing when I felt my phone vibrating. I saw it was a text from Zeke.

“Let’s talk in the plaza. 7:00.” He texted! I want to hyperventilate! Kidding! I went there 6:45 pm. I saw a guy walking towards me with expressionless eyes.

“Lorraine,” I smiled. “Let’s break up.” My smile slowly disappeared. “You’re fibbing.” I declared.

“No! I want to clear things. I can’t love you anymore.” He said and he messed his hair. I cried. “No, Peter! It’s just your emotion that makes you do this. Please Peter! Next month we’ll be one year together. No! You can’t do this to me, Zeke.” My voice broke. He glared.

“I’m sorry.” He said and turned away. I cried out loud. He broke me! I will not love like this anymore.
