Chan and Jeongin had been friends for years, since they had been 6 and 10.
But just before Chan had left some issues had arisen in their seemingly perfect relationship, you see the elder of the two had started to catch feelings for a certain blonde haired male who had become increasingly distracting over the past couple of months.
Sometimes the simplest gestures from him could get Chan veered off-track as well as completely in a world of his own, about the cute boy he had, unwillingly at first, fallen for. And the fact they lived in a rather small apartment together didn't help. The latter however had been communicating with him
less, much to his disappointment, as he would soon be leaving to Australia to have some time with his family before he returned to Korea to continue his career as a trainee at JYP Entertainment.
But to his growing dismay it was his last day in Korea and Jeongin had been staying over at a 'friends' house, let's just say he was a terrible liar, his eyes would avoid yours at all costs and his hands would constantly fidget while they were being rubbed against his shirt or trousers most likely due to nervous perspiring. But instead he had been staying with his parents who lived down in Daegu and the fact he wouldn't be able to return home before Chans now inconvenient trip wasn't making him feel any better about leaving certain things unsaid; he was going to tell him, he had to tell him, because as the old saying goes- "Speak now, or forever hold your peace."
There was only 1 problem he couldn't make it to Daegu and back before his plane would be leaving at 7:00 am and he'd be gone for a month, so after his thinking session he just decided on sending his confession through a heartfelt text:
Innie I know its been a while since we last talked but I really need to tell you this before I leave,
I like you, like really REALLY like you...
And of course you shouldn't feel pressured to feel the same way and you actually reciprocating any of this would be a blessing from God himself so yeah...
also I'm completely happy to stay friends as long as I know you are content with life.
