San Francisco, CA Friday morning 9:15 Am In my sleep, I feel something vibrating and it's been vibrating for almost 10 minutes. Remembering the alarm I set on my phone the night before, with my eyes closed I start moving my hand around my bed looking for my phone. I think I took too much time before finding my phone so the alarm stopped by itself. I open my eyes and saw that my phone was at the bottom of the bed. Me: *talking to myself* how did it get there? I guess it's because of my bad sleeping habits. I unlock my phone and saw 5 texts from my best friend Ashley. _8:30 am_ _Good morning my brown sugar!!😍_ "she did not call me that, "i said laughing. _8:35 am_ _How are you?_ _8:40 am_ _Are you still sleeping?_ _8:50 am_ _ why aren't you replying back? I swear to God if you don't reply in the next 10 minutes you don't have to text me back because I will not reply. I hate you😂_ _9:00 am_ _My sweet apple pie, I miss you. Can we go out today? Don't tell me no because I know you're always busy. I really want to go out today, I can't stay at home anymore and I need to talk to you about my supposed to be "boyfriend". See ya 🥳😎_ "Why do we have a best friend if she's not that crazy? I don't know what I would do without her in my life." I said sarcastically. I press on her number and call her. Me: Hey hey hey there!!! Ashley: who is that? Isn't that Ms. Busy? Me: stop playing now. So how have you been? I was sleeping as you mentioned in the texts. Ashley: Yeah, I know you're hypersomniac. Me: Don't go to that extent girl. "I'm telling the truth," she said chuckling. "it's been almost a week since I haven't heard from you, what happened?" I asked. Ashley: you know, I don't have that much of free time as you. I have been taking exams during the week and I have some news for you. By the way, did you find that abroad internship? Me: Not yet. I look at the clock beside my bed, it's already 9:50 and I have to meet my dad at 10:30 am. Me: Ashley, I have to be at my father's company before 10:20 and I think I'm gonna be late. Talk to you later boo. Ashley: sure thing, text me when you're leaving your father's company because today we have to go out for sure. Bye babe. Me: Bye. I put my phone down and go take a shower. Ten minutes later I'm done taking my shower, I feel much awake. With my towel around me, i open my drawer to get my underwear. While putting my bra on, I heard my phone ringing I just got a text from my dad saying. _10:00 am_ _Sweetheart, where are you? Is traffic bad? I think you're going to be late so I pushed our meeting to 11 am. I have a board meeting with the employees. Be careful on the road!!_ I send him a text, that says thank you for pushing it for later and I'm sorry because I'm gonna be late. My father is a really caring man, I really admire him even though he and mom divorced 5 years ago, he has always been present for us. I go to my closet and was trying to see what outfit I'm gonna wear today. After multiple tries, I found one. ( I put the picture of the outfit instead of describing it)👇

(for the purse, I had a simple purse) I just let my hair down, put some mascara on and my strawberry chapstick. I take my purse and put some perfume on, I look in the mirror to see how I look. Me:*talking to myself* hmm, I think I'm decent. While I was going to the refrigerator to take a bottle of water, my mom was coming out of her room. Me: Good morning mom *gives a kiss on her forehead* you're not going to work today? Mom: Yes, I'm going but it's a night shift today. I'm going to get some more sleep, what about you do you have a date? Me: Momm!!! No, I don't. I'm just going to dad's company and after that maybe I'll hang out with Ashley. Mom: ok, be careful. Me: Yes mom, Love you. Have a good day resting... Mom:*talking to herself*when did she grow so much*smiling*.
