You walked into the room and grab a set of training clothes, walked over the nearest changing room and began to strip from your citizen attire. Looking at you white and light blue outfit you knew it was meaningless to you. One leg at a time you put on your new waist-high pants and black crop top. Looking into the mirror you looked like a whole different person but again somehow everything felt right.

Walking out of the locker room you felt like all eyes were on you. It was a weird feeling at first but then walking over towards the guys. "Is it normal for everyone to looking at a person when they wear normal Amora clothes?". Chan and Jeongin both were in a mix of what to say it wasn't until Seungmin turned around and told you the honest answer. "We don't get a lot of imperfect like yourself y/n so everyone is in a state of shock," he said and then return to his work. "Well that answers my questions,,, so when does my training start?" you asked sitting down in the chair next to Seungmin. "Right now actually, come on y/n we have to figure out where your strong points are," Jeongin said holding his hand out.

Grabbing his hand he guided you into a training room with a bunch of weapons in the room. Jeongin walked over and pick up a weapon and then walked over to the training mat. You look at the table in front of you and notice a necklace with a gem in the middle of it. The necklace wasn't like anything that you seen before and you thought it was such an unique weapon, so you picked it up and walked onto the mat. "Interesting choice of weapon y/n," Jeongin said walking up to you "now let's see if you can use it properly". A target soon appeared in front of the both of you and you stood tall, the necklace was in your hand and you can't feel the sweat on your hands. One deep breathe in and then out you place the gem properly in the correct position and began to swing the necklace.

Once you felt like you were ready you trust your gut and the gem flew off of the slot. The sound of paper bring rip was the only thing you could hear before you looked up and saw the target. "Wow, not a lot of people are handy with that necklace y/n, a perfect bullseye," Jeongin said patting your back. "Come on let me teach you some combat moves, it will be helpful to know,".

Day passed by and you were a natural in combat fighting plus your skill what you call your gem throwing has increased. It became habit that you would go to the Centrum with Jeongin after class and then return home at the undergrads curfew. You saw yourself being more open towards Jeongin and his friends verse your Aroma friends and to be honest you really didn't miss them at all. With your new set of friends you felt like no matter what happens you will have someone to protect you.

Twas the night before the big celebration and here you are lying awake in bed. You tired to go to sleep but you kept waking up through the night. And when that you swung your legs over and out of your bed and walked towards your window. Looking out into the city that you called home for so long it didn't feel like home anymore. "Maybe I just need some air," you said to yourself walking over and putting on your slippers as well as a jacket.

As the doors opened and you were exposed to the cold air you felt somewhat better. So much was running throughout your mind about the ceremony and what Nova Lux is planning. Walking around for a while you ran into a familiar face "Jeongin, what are you doing up so late?" you asked walking up to him. "I was about to ask you the same question y/n," he said standing in front of you "are you nervous for today?". "Very, I thought today was going to be a huge day of acceptance but now what the whole point of everything?" you lowered your head. "Hey looking at me," he lifted your head to looked in his eyes.

Suddenly you felt calm somehow being with Jeongin you allowed yourself to be weak like he was the only person who you can really trust right now. He leaned in closer and set a kiss on your cheek. Heat quickly rushed to your cheeks, you didn't know how to react and you could tell that Jeongin didn't know what to do afterward. It was rare if someone showed affection towards anyone in the city. But you weren't apart of the classic city culture anymore so nothing that was holding you down.

You set your hand his his cheek and pulled yourself closer to him. There was only a penny room between your lips and his. You heart was beating out of your chest and soon you close the gap that was between the two of you. It was warm and gentle, making the night seem less colder than it was when you walked out of your house. "We should get some rest," you said was your lips were apart. "Honestly y/n are we really going to sleep after that," Jeongin jokingly said setting his nose on your nose. ONe more kiss and then you found your way back inside your house, back inside your room, and once again laying in your bed wanting to go to bed. Cause the sooner you fall asleep the soon you can see Jeongin again.

"Good morning y/n, today is a huge day," your mother said as she was opening the curtains in your room. "Hey, mom," you slugging said as you were still tired from that middle of night walk. "Come on we have to get you ready for the ceremony," your mother said walking to your closet and pulling out a light blue and white outfit. You sat up in your bed and looked at your outfit that was hanging on your closet door.

You walked downstairs and saw your parents sitting at the dining room table. "Ah look at you y/n you are all grown up," your father said walking up to you with open arms. Even though they weren't your actual parent you were grateful for having them raise you. They were definitely two people who you were going to miss the most. "Oh look at the time, the ceremony is going to begin soon," your mother looked at her watch then back up at you and your father.

Soon your family and everyone else the town was making its way towards the arena. You said your goodbyes to your family knowing that it will be the last time you will ever see them. Tears started to form in your eyes but luckily Jeongin found you quickly and comfort you. He sat with you throughout the whole entire ceremony. "Now as we get ready to celebrate our rising graduates let's remember these are the rising graduates who were alive when our city was just beginning," one of the company members said on the stage. "We can't wait to see what all of you have in store to bring to our city," another member said.

Right before everyone was supposed to get ready to go get their assignments, the lights went out and a large roar came from every entrance of the theater. Jeongin squeezed your hand indicating that it was time. Soon when the light returned on, everyone was in shock to see the Nova Lux at the ceremony. Once the legendary Park Jinyoung walked through the doors you knew that it was going to be interesting. The faces of everyone apart of the Company were in shocked but then called over the guard to take out the Nova Lux one by one.

"Are you ready for war y/n?" Jeongin asked looking into your eyes. "If I'm with you I'm ready for anything," you returned the answer at him. The two of you ran to your friends and prepared your weapons. "We maybe a glitch in the system," Park Jinyoung said walking over towards the Company "but you can't hide the truth forever, this is the correct way of life".

One of the Company members talked into there collar and you knew someone was going to happen soon. You quickly took your necklace that was hidden under your outfit, within seconds his hand was cut by a gem. And boom war. Guards were charging towards everyone who was wearing Nova Lux outfits. It was a dangerous area to be in but you felt like you were ready for anything. You saw guards coming towards you, yes you were nervous since this was your first REAL fight but you handled it like a pro.

"IN Y/N," Chan yelled for you guys "Come on we have to get out of here, it's getting rough and our only chance of surviving is regrouping, come on we have a ride out of here". Chan ran out quickly and Jeongin followed. You looked back at what you knew as home for so long before heading out. You found yourself sitting in a seat next to Jeongin on the aircraft, by the looks of it everyone who you knew were safe on the aircraft. "It's okay y/n we're going to win," Jeongin said kissing the top of your head. You set your head on his shoulders with tears rolling out of your eyes, the home that you knew for so long was no longer your home. But that okay, this is just a major step into the future and equality for everyone.
