Today was the day of the baby shower. I'm about 7 and a half months pregnant at this point. Me and Colby don't know what the gender is. We just know it's only one. The rest of the roommates and Kat all know the gender and are setting up the baby shower at the house now while me and Colby drive around until one of use receives a text saying we're good to come home.
About an hour later Colby receives a text from Sam.
"Hey dude, you guys are good to come home know."
"Ok we're on our way now."
"Ok, see you soon."
We pulled in the driveway and as we were walking up to the door I stopped.
"What's wrong baby?" Colby asked as he came back over to me.
"I'm just nervous to find out the gender of our baby."
"It's ok. We'll get through this together, I promise." He said while hugging me.
"Thanks babe." After I say that we walked in and everyone jumped out and scream surprise. Kat handed me a balloon and Sam handed Colby a balloon. We each got something to pop them with.

After we heard one we popped them scattering a bunch of blue color confetti. We had a name for each gender ready and since it was a boy is name is gonna be Colt. (Credit to name and gender is Pipybunny814)
"What his name gonna be?"
"Colt." Me and Colby both responded to the roommates. "And we have a surprise for you guys." I say taking out the papers to buy the house as ours not rent it.
"Are those what I think they are?" Sam asks. "Are those papers to buy the house. As ours."
"Yep, we just need the signatures of the people who will be staying here. Me and Colby have signed it. Any other takers."
Sam signed the paper and then passed it on. It made its way to Kat and we all thought she wasn't gonna sign it but to our surprise she did.
"Omg Kat your moving in!" I say very excited.
"Yep, I decided I'm tired of living with just a dog. And my neighbors are noisy."
We finished the baby shower, and me and Colby were cleaning up but Colby told me to relax. I looked at the house form. The people who signed it were Sam, Kat, Aaron, Jake, Corey, Devyn, Elton, me, and Colby. Elton decided he is moving back in so now we're gonna have Katz dog, Navi, Circa, and Buddy in the house. Plus a baby. We should probably also fix the door frame, oven door, and pool.
It's the next day and I'm taking the paper to the landlord. He takes the paper and says someone will be over in a couple days to fix the hot tub, door frame, and oven door. I thank him walk back inside. Me and Colby have to go shopping for a crib and toys for the baby. Along with clothes but that might come later when we know how big he's gonna be.

We ended up getting that crib and putting it together under the window by his desk. We also got him a stuffed giraffe and monkey.
It's almost time for the baby to be born so me and Colby are putting my hospital bag in his car. We're going in the day before he's supposed to be born or if I start contractions early we'll wait to see if my water broke then head in.
It was later in the day and Colby and I decided to go to the beach. A couple of fans asked for pictures, so we took some with them. While there wasn't any fans we were cuddling on the sand where the water comes up to. We ended up getting Dip n Dots and headed home after that. I feel like the luckiest person. I live with my Fiancé, brother, friends, and soon me and Colby will have a baby boy in the house.
Today's the day before the baby is supposed to be born. We told the hospital that we were coming in early so they know I'm not in labor yet. Me and Colby got in the car and headed off. We said by to the awake roommates so Aaron, Sam, Corey, and Devyn. A couple hours later i ended up going into labor and I had my beautiful baby boy.

I posted a pic of Colt on my Instagram and so did Colby. My caption was "our baby boy is finally here. Everyone welcome Colt to the family." And I tagged Colby in it. Colby's caption was very similar and he tagged me. Mine and Colby's wedding is in about a month. Kats agreed to be the maid of honor. Devyn, Tori, Amanda and my mom or my brides mades. I know Colby is gonna have Sam as his best man. I also know he's gonna have Aaron, Jake, Corey, and his dad as groomsmen. Sam is gonna be holding Colt since he's his uncle.
